Attention!!!! This is just in!!!!! Five more small colleges in the state of Georgia is sending letters of recommendation to put them on schedule next year. I think at least one high school team also want to play Tennessee.

Just looking at the play on the field, Georgia State was the aggressor.. They took it the right to Tennessee with excellent pass rush, creative blitz’s (corner blitz was very well done). On offense, GSU QB, Ellington?, had a brilliant performance. He is a talent, made some perfect throws, ran spread option plays to perfection, and was an extremely effective runner when he kept it. That game sealing TD run was incredible, made 5 Vol defenders miss for the TD. Of course it is shocking that Tennessee lost to this opponent but the opponent played some brilliant football. GSU also had psychological edge that developed as the game went on. GSU was trying to win, once they started to have some things work for them they started believing. On the other side, UT became panicked that they might lose. So one team is fighting to win with a sense of exhilaration and the other is hoping not to lose and developing terror they will. Big mental advantage to GSU. Interesting how the game unfolded and what makes college football the greatest sport on earth. Vols, you all have an amazing football program in Knoxville. Beautiful town, campus, traditions, Neyland Stadium, and a wonderful fan base. I’m a lifelong Gator and we were defeated by Georgia Southern at home in 2014. It was a terrible day, but we got through it. Best wishes to Rocky Top.

I've been saying this since last year. I do not dislike coach Pruitt, he is not the coach for the University of Tennessee. When he took the stripes off the side of the uniforms that left a bad taste in my mouth. When he said no more Smokey gray uniforms that left a bad taste in my mouth when we were going on the road in our white uniforms and it looks like we were playing in practice uniforms that left a bad taste in my mouth. But what's even worse is when Coach Jones left him a little bit of talent and he didn't know what to do with it. This guy was a mediocre coordinator Georgia and he was a mediocre co-coordinator at Alabama I think those Fulmer did what he had to do at the time for the program to move forward. The team is actually gotten worse

A good head coach will have, above all, players that bust thier ass, work hard, and give effort. It's cliche, but its true. What I saw today in this game by the UT defense was the exact opposite of that. This is a strong indicator of the culture in the locker room. I'm sorry to say this, because I respect Tennessee as a state, a team, and a university--But UT is in trouble. I dont know what the hell has happened up there. But if you're the Tennessee Volunteers football team, you should never, EVER be losing to Georgia State. Point blank.

I've been saying this privately for a couple of years now. But now I am saying it publicly. Tennessee's quarterback has got to change. He holds onto the ball way too much. There's plenty of times when the B&C gaps are open for him to run and pick up an easy 10 to 15 yards and he hops to stay in the pocket and try to throw it still. It puts the offensive line in a very bad position. Secondly, Calloway has got to get the ball weigh more than what he does. Every time he touches the ball it's a big play waiting to happen and the Tennessee coaching staff only finds a way to get it to him four to six times a game. They pulled the same stuff with Alvin Kamara. Defensively, Tennessee is not that bad. They just got out schemed from a coaching standpoint. Georgia state did a great job of getting their players in space and allowing them to make one-on-one moves with Tennessee Defenders. Great game plan for a team who has less Talent. Not really sure what to say about Pruitt other than they overlooked Georgia State without correcting offensive problems from last year and the year before

Did Georgia state play good football? Yes. Did I see their quarterback make some perfect throws into tight coverage? Yes. Are they maybe a little better than they’re being given credit for, I think so. BUT are they still fucking Gerogia State? Well I mean son of a bitch, yeah. The line has to recognize blitzes better than hellen keller would have and the linebackers need to quit sitting on their heels and go make a damn play. Georgia State came out to play today and you could tell, they looked well coached and actually not half bad, but they still shouldn’t stack up against an SEC team, especially one with so much size and talent. It’s incredible to me that it almost seemed like their offensive play callers out coached our coverages. The QB was able to make tight throws into man coverage when he had to and they took advantage of weak spots in our zones when they needed to as well. We’re paying too much damn money for the coaches if they can’t win a chess match against Gerogia State’s coaches. I saw a lot of improvement in the way JG spun the ball today but all of that means jack shit when you’re being forced to play not to lose as opposed to playing to win. It was obvious we weren’t expecting a team like Georgia State to bring it to us all 60 minutes like they did and they took full advantage. Worst loss in school history. Inexcusable and embarrasing for the fans, the program, and the whole state of Tennessee that they represent

I mean we give him the benefit of doubt against quality programs such as Alabama, Georgia, etc. but this is all I would need to see to show me that this guy will never out coach someone. Florida has alot to work on before sec play but god I'd rather have struggled against a decent team and came out with a win then get destroyed by a team from the worst conference in the FBS.
