I wanna say that the games definitely gonna have flaws but I think all the new stuff and all the new stuff the blog talks about makes it seem so refreshing that any flaws weren’t too noticeable

I mean they had to sign a contract in which they aren’t allowed to talk about certain aspects of the game until EA talks about it first

But other creators who WEREN'T invited and have been completely critical of EA Sports for the past decade HAVE ALSO been positive and optimistic (SoftDrink)

ATP you should know a scripted youtuber when you hear one lol This app is full of them not too many ppl keeping it real about this game and it's sad to see. I'm waiting until the 15th so I can test this thing before I fork over anymore cash to EA.

my guess is they did something with the programming to make triple options more successful than they are in madden, but making defenders run the wrong way or not react at all is sad

I don't think so. Because I see this alot in Madden where the linemen are overly committed to the double team. Especially on a play where we're going up the gut.

The Michigan DB is what I see in Madden alot. Improper technique being overridden by an ability. Had he not had that ability, he'd be cooked due to poor positioning.

​@@gamerd8709 this looks like a flat concept for the defender why the fuck do you need to turn your back when u have safty help incase the wr runs a go or a 7 route. Just doesnt make sense. This is why madden has always had problems with zones always having an AI turn their backs when they are not suppose to.

Never said anything about a game needing to be perfect. I've always said a "consistent, cohesive product" Please don't you too start using that phrase to excuse the blunders.

I can't let that rock only simply because of an ability being attached to him. I would respect it more if it was a non ability player, but could play good defense. I got a video coming today that shows the opposite side of that.

You are right they are playing cover 9 however cb is playing cloud and not hard flat. Also notice the ball is spotted in the short side of the field . Which means the cb shouldnt be turning his back to the wr. Plus when the cb turns his back looks at the wr his animations triggers automatically to the outside before the qb throws the ball outside. What if the 2nd player runs a flag/ corner rout, the cb bit too early on the flat and would have let a big yardage gain. We dont want cb to turn his back when he is playing between the outside nunbers and out of bounce, while playing a cloud. Plus the wr is running 7-8 yards out route. The cb is lined up 6-7 yards off that is only 2 yards No need for the cb to turn his body. This is where ea has the coding wrongs when it comes to zone drops.

@@JDivine911 I kinda dont understand that point but madden has gave everyone ptsd... but how else would you be able to differentiate 5 and 4 stars from 3 and under? I also been hearing the abilities are more like badges on 2k that dont work 100% of the time... you also did have some takes I agree with tho

@@gamesh0w4life69 Yes, he's in a cloud flat on the number one. As he's getting deeper, the WR's leverage is falling into his zone. He's the immediate threat. Because no one else is on his side to force him to play high, then rally low as far as a corner route or anything breaking deeper behind him. His job in a cloud isn't to play it; it's to stop a whole shot and also to get depth to bait the QB to throw low because his leverage is now good enough to jump the deep route if he's willing to gamble. The ball being on the short side is also to his advantage because the boundary is the 12th defender, so there's less space, which makes a speed turn (bacc to the WR) safe to do, but even if it wasn't on the short side of the field, there are plenty of people who play CB and are comfortable with speed turning. Last but not least, the ability activating upon him jumping the ball was realistic because he turned and got eyes on the WR, and then the QB, and then he broke to the ball; it wasn't like he just shot straight out of the speed turn directly to the ball.

@@ThatBoyPoppa. @ThatBoyPoppa. i agree with only 50 percent of what u are saying...but. just bc the wr is making and outside movement doesnt not mean the cb should bite immidiately. As a cloud player, you defend the cloud first bc 90% the flat should be open. That is the whole point of cloud to the flat. The cb only back paddles about 3 yards and turns his back, if you paused the video on 3:33. ( paused it there) the cb has his back turned. Not even looking at the qb. Number 2. both number 1 and nunber 2 wr go about 6-7 yards that means as the cb cloud once the second wr goes pass 6-7 yards expect for a etiher a inside, or outside/ corner route... he doesnt know would he since he had already turn his body and not looking either at the qb or the #1 WR theatning his area or the second WR.... 3 before the WR can even make an outside route the cb for some weird reason has a spiderman tingleling sensation that the WR was going outside. ( again in order to understand this you must pause the video at 3:33)... 3. before the qb even throws the ball the cb animation had already triggered and went outside, that is unrealistic. That is an animation that has been in the game for years and it sucks bc it cheats you and it cheats me. What if the WR was going to cut in like an out then inside zig ?? ( again you must pause at 3:33) then the cb since turning his back wouldnt have know would he?? In real football the db would be chew and spitten out in the film room... hey just like we are right now. Again no cb coach will ever teach his player to turn his back to the qb. Especially if two players goes pass 6-7-8 yards. Go ask any db coach and they will tell you the same.

Alot of people haven't, but that doesn't exclude them from making a breakdown or talking about sports.
