I think best case scenario for alabama and texas a&m getting in would be the reverse. A&M would beat bama and bame would get in without going to the sec title game
Parity will fix itself because USC Oklahoma etc are all gonna play each other each year if their in the same conference - also no more divisions will have teams playing the big boys more often than they ever did just relying on the cross division setup
Alabama is absolutely loaded at every position and the revenge aspect is on their side this season so I’m expecting an undefeated regular season and another championship. I think Georgia probably has enough to make the playoff again but I could see an upset along the way whuch would make the SEC title a must win. Ohio State has more defensive talent up front than given credit for with Harrison, Sawyer and Tuimoloau. Secondary should be better but I agree linebackers could be an issue. Not sure it matters in Big Ten play anyways with three legit Heisman contenders and one of the best play callers in the country. I think Michigan is the only team with a real shot to beat the Buckeyes but I don’t see it this year. Also not completely sold on Clemson yet. Offense will be beter but I still don’t see the same talent as past years. Shipley should have a good year but one of the quarterbacks and a few recivers will have to really emerge for me to buy in as a playoff team. I like Miami, Oregon, Texas A&M as longshots too but they still seem a couple years away. The same can probably be said for USC but I’m leaning towards a Pac-12 school for the fourth seed. Which would probably be the winner of USC and Utah. Oklahoma should stay in the mix too if the defense improves as expected. Should be a fun year even if the playoff is mostly chalk. Any combination of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, USC and Utah would be great.
Russillo I love you been listening since the SVP days blah blah blah but I boycott the pod if you haven't hung out with Kyle by the time next Tuesday's pod is up. I know Thursday is unrealistic. You didn't even go to Ceruti's wedding man. Come on, get it together.
