This is the best lacrosse video i have ever seen. Before every game and practice i watch this video and say to myself, "I am going to be one of these players when i get older." This video inspires me to do well every time i step on the lacrosse field and even when practicing in the backyard. Lacrosse means a lot to me and hopefully it mean a lot to you too...
Nothing brings a tear to my eye more than knowing I was still able to find this video 14 years later. I was listening to explosions in the sky on Spotify and it reminded me of this vid. I searched and thank god it’s still here. I used to watch this video all the time before lax practice and it always hyped me up. Now, at 30 years old and the stick collecting dust in the closet, it’s pure nostalgia. I love the game.
Out of all of the highlight videos for the seasons in the past few years, this is my favorite one. I didn't get to see any of these games live, but you can tell how crazy that season was for every team.
I like the different approach. However, some of the edits were fast and unnecessary. Its tough to edit to this song (or almost any video like this) when you don't have closeups and such. You can check out a vid i've edited to this song on my other account Chapel7news and get a feel for what i'm saying. Overall, good video.
@Calaxus I've plared both Attack and Defense for four years. When I play attack I like to do all my dodges at the tip of my toes so I would recommend getting football cleats since they have 1 very useful spike in the tip compared to soccer cleats which don't have that and are mainly for footwork rather than dodging. Since you are a novice I think choosing pads and gloves probably won't effect your the way you play so I recomment getting somewhat cheap stuff around $120 in total? Hope this helps.
Football isn't as great example as soccer, hockey and basketball- I find more elements from these three sports in lacrosse than other sport, there is alittle of football in lacrosse. The greatest thing two years ago when I was coaching had a kid who was a QB in football wanted to give goalie a try- I couldn't think a better position from another sport that would that would transition into a lacrosse goalie, he actually became a pretty good goalie.
absolute brilliant efforts on the field and off the field editing & directing this video... 1 of the personal favorite sequences: Syracuse's #24 Loftus's shot selections leading into #44 Brooks' and the Terp's offensive exchanges. whose musical efforts are we listening to? apologies for the glitches in my previous comments.
This is the sickest lax video on the internet. I love explosions and how you had alot of Steven Brooks goals. I dont get why you ended it with that hofstra shot tho ?? shouldve ending it showing Cuse holding the title up or something
@embracethecheese17 keep your chin up, dont let anyone put you down, try your hardest, listen to the coach, practice at home with a friend or someone/something and of course have fun bro. Wish you good luck! Cheers, WaNNaBeAHeeL(laxkid329)
i already commented on this but i watch it over and over again because its beast. and if they put this on like national television i guarantee lacrosse would be as popular as the NFL, NBA, or MLB, guaranteed.
lacrosse, easy scholarship? You have to be joking. look at the best schools, they are some of the best and hardest schools in the country. To be apart of that team, YOU have to be the best in country.
@windyhillsss HAHAHA you win! Good point, its worse for a goalie my bad man, haha look at what happened in last year national championship....I still can't watch...I love Notre Dame
this videop made me wanna cry. i havnt been playing because my grades are bad and this video just reminded me of playing alot. plus the music from saturday night lights
by far the greatest lacrosse video ive ever seen. and toward the end at 7:00 when paul rabil gets knocked around a hell of alot and still makes the goal. thats intense
Gosh i wish i watched lacrosse in 2008. If I watched that season, the way I played would of been so much different. To me, this video just never gets old....
