Hey! that bug was called a house centipede and they actually don’t do anything to you. In fact they are actually helpful in killing other bugs by striking them with their venom( which is not harmful to humans but just a sting if you try to attack them and miss) and wrap their own bodies around the bugs. But in order to get rid of house centipedes you should probably get rid of any other bugs since the centipedes are attracted to them( along with warm places during the winter time or humid and dark places.) if they are in your house, they will be in kitchens and bathrooms to rest since the rooms are both warm, basements since basements are ground level and are likely to have pests, and bedrooms if they are corners that haven’t been touched or moved yet along with dark hiding spots such as under your bed. For more space for clothes (I have the same problem lol), you could buy some under bed storage boxes and put whatever is out of season in there! Or you can get plastic drawers to put next to your bed or even under your desk that can fit t-shirts/crop tops/shorts/underwear in and it's pretty inexpensive to buy! Probably around $12-$15 when converted from my currency :)
