I’m so overwhelmed by all of the kind words and support for this video. So thankful for those who were able to empathize or relate to the story shared in this speech, I wish you all nothing but the best. I don’t really upload much to RU-vid but if you’re interested in keeping up or connecting, feel free to find me through my socials. I could use some public speaking endorsements on my LinkedIn :) Instagram: @ishaan_chatterjee Facebook: @ishaan_chatterjee TikTok: @ishaan_chatterjee LinkedIn: Ishaan Chatterjee But seriously, thank you all, these past few years have been tough and we are still facing challenges today, but it’s always amazing to see people supporting other people, and lifting each other up.
The ability to speak in front of an audience with such confidence and grace shows how well deserving you are of that position. Not to mention how hard you worked to get there. Excellent job!! Congratulations. You sir have a bright future ahead of you. I'm betting your family is quite proud of you. We are!! 🙌💛
Mr. O should not be mentioned here, it was all just talk, not walking the talk. This young man who ever, what ever he is as a person, we wish him, and equally, all his fellow graduates a wonderful journey to life! Do good to yourselves and all human beings you come accross! That' s the ultimate goal worth achieving.
Yes, towards the end of the talk, I sense what this young man is bringing in to the society: a man of INTEGRITY. Encouraging everyone towards integrity, the most valuable posession any human being can posess.
@@jane_7193 well u bussed down wanch his way of speech do sound like Obama .Obama can be mentioned anytime we wanna mention if u don’t like it u just gotta deal
Dude had some killing jokes that got nothing but silence. You're going to be a great leader and successful person. Congratulations and may your life be fruitful
As a frequent presenter myself - I have to say that you are an OUTSTANDING speaker. Excellent speed, inflection, eye contact, engagement with the audience. Clearly a gifted public speaker. Bravo! (And congratulations!!)
talented orator sounds like he's been giving speeches for decades like a young Obama and Denzel type a guy. I see him as the CEO of whatever he will do. His voice will sell anything such a confident young man ain't nothing to limit this man's success
My sons graduation ceremony for his PhD was on Monday of this week at Durham University in the U.K. It’s been hard work, I’m sure you’ll agree, but when you’ve got the drive and determination to succeed you always will. My father always said to me, ‘you only get out of life what you put into it’ and that’s so true. I don’t know how many years you attend university in the US, but my son did a 3 year undergraduate degree, a 1 year masters degree and a 3 years PhD degree, then he spent another year at another university doing his PGCE degree for 1 year, that enabled him to teach higher level students himself ie ages 16+. It’s been a long 8 years in university, but a great achievement not just for yourself, but for your parents too. I am 100% certain they would have been ever so proud of you on that day, as were we with our son. He actually finished and passed his PhD in 2020, but covid postponed all graduation ceremonies for several years, as you said we’ve had a decades worth of tragedy in 2 years. But, after seeing your graduation and lovely speech, I just wanted to say congratulations to you too, on passing your degree Ishaan. Well done!! 👍🏻👏👏
Wow, congratulations to your son! You must be very proud of him. One of my best friends went to Durham and she absolutely adored it there. It's a brilliant university.
And he didn’t read from a script. You are an awesome Orgon/Chemist. Congratulations! You made every Indian immigrant + any immigrant came to this country proud. With out an immigrant this country will not survive. Totally true bec they work hard and with education, they go to places. They are the ones buy nice cars, houses and start their own business to contribute US economy.
Great speech! Made me reminisce about my son who gave a speech at his high school graduation. He is now a medical doctor, practicing Internal Medicine in Columbus Ga at St Francis hospital. I'm sure that his parents are very proud of him.
Amazing speech man! The hand gestures, voice modulation, self- reflections and more than that the ability to relate to the audience at large renders the perfect combination of a highly eloquent and effective speech. As an Indian immigrant, it's a proud moment to see a fellow buddy addressing the stage. Your speech reminds me of Obama in many ways !
This speech handled the, plainly said, suffering a lot of us students went through during the pandemic so nicely and with so much humor. The grief for those times definitely shines through but in a sympathetic way. I lost all of my motivation and passion learning from home and am just slowly building it back up, we gotta talk about it. Congrats on graduating!
So refreshing to see someone so eloquent and charismatic representing our community on a global front. Congratulations on your absolutely well-deserved honor, may you reach greater heights in the coming years. Wish you all the best 😌🙏🏼👏🏼
One thing I acknowledged but have not grasped yet is that giving a speech or speaking to an audience is like any other conversation. (This is what my Public Speaking professor tried to convince us of anyway). He has grasped this concept. His speaking to the audience as if he is having a conversation with his best friends-with that much comfort and ease).💖💖💖💖💖💖
Wow. I do not know how I ended up with this video in my suggestions but I am so happy I saw it. Your parents must be so proud even though you forgot to tell them of such an important responsibility. Lol you speak so well, so eloquent, and I absolutely love your deep, solid voice. I hope you are majoring in journalism. may the Lord bless you and guide your steps ahead.
Beyond fabulous speech. The universe was showing of when Ishaan was made. Congrats on your graduation and all your hard work and COVID 19 failed to derail your future. The world is your oyster so go forth into this big bright beautiful world that is yours. Not sharing with your Family you were making your speech today is hysterical. Australia.
I am an immigrant and I am still fighting for my education - in school for my masters in nursing. Thanks for motivating me. The fight continues until we reach our goal!!
How the f*ck do people speak so well in public! He was comfortable, charming and commanding of everyones attention. Even better than many politicians! I'm a bumbling, stuttering mess all the time. Damn this is was a fabulous speech and achievement! Well done young man.
Congratulations Ishaan! Tumi to Dadu ke aaj onek baro sonman diley. Tomar Ma Baba r bhaggo bhalo tomar moto chhele peye aar ora tomake bhalo shikka diyeche. Blessings nio! 💕🎓❤️🙏🏼
Today's graduates have gone through something not many other classes can speak of.....IT HAS BEEN HARD! Graduating students have truly fought for their education even when a system had NO clue what to do. Thank you to the good teachers out there.
Anyone else feel like this might be the most underrated speech in 2022 graduate speeches? Like 👀🤩he better have gotten a standing ovation! Also, Do you know how difficult it is to hide something that big from your family???
Incredible, inspirational speech Well done to you, your father and your granddad in achieving all that you were meant to have in life! Wishing you well
I hated group presentation in University and after school went to a course to learn how to give presentation. I loved every minute of my university. I worked within my campus for the university bookshop, yes, smart me 🤪 got discount on my books. I met a lot of students, I am still friends with the store manager and co-workers. My married classmate made me go to his house on Sundays to study. My only regret is leaving the free German class - the school offered additional free language classes for students. I did one semester but didn't go for the exam after I struggled doing my coursework.I fell ill towards the end of my second year and missed 6 weeks of classes so had to redo an extra term. Many years later glad to graduate. My mum was at my graduation. Today I work in one of the best places that I have been in as a Payment Analyst. I hope to complete my professional exams to become a Chartered Accountant. Nothing can prepare you for the struggles of exams in University. Once you graduate, you feel like you can conquer anything else.
Your parents have to be sooooo proud of you! You are, indeed, an amazing young man who will without a doubt accomplish a lot in your lifetime! Wishing you all the best!
Congrats on your University Graduation. Awesome speech. With your flawless speaking abilities, and Obama - like approach, you young man, are going places. Show the world what you are capable of. Congrats again 🍾🎉🎓
Wow! Great speech! Congratulations and I pray that your next chapter and journey in life is nothing but the best, because you have earned it. Your parents did a great job in raising you. Congratulations to them as well. I hope someday to see my boys graduating from college and have that enthusiasm about it that you showed in your speech. 🙏🏼
I've really felt for student during past 2 years. Half of their matriculation has n been in absentia, not matriculation at all. It has been distance learning, with little or no interaction with the course comtents' experts! And I'm sure professors suffered feelings of lose/loneliness too. Congrats to yall for hanging tough during uniquely tough times. You've earned your creds!
Very well spoken young confident person! Congratulations! Know you have a very bright future. Much success & happiness wished for you! Follow your dreams! ❤️🙏🤗👨🎓
Wowwwww Ishaan. Your speech is awesome. You will be an amazing leader some day. Many congratulations to the Chaterjees for doing a wonderful job with you. Good luck Ishaan. May god bless.
