˗ˏˋWhy are my eyes yellow? ´ˎ˗
This is a common question I get asked and I have no problem talking about it! I have Sickle Cell Anemia which makes my blood cells a crescent moon shape instead of round like regular blood cells. Because of this, I can sometimes have pain crises when I’m not getting enough blood to some parts of my body because the blood cells can get stuck in my vessels. This also causes my yellow eyes.
