It's also been hard for me with all my classes online. My professors are giving us more work than what they normally give us and it's driving everybody crazy. It's like an eternal hell week that doesn't and will not end until we have normal classes again. But the key is to stay organize and remove any temptations and distractions. And remember that if you do the work early you'll have more free time to do whatever you want.

i feel like some professors are assigning more work than they normally would because of everything going on. some of my friends have mass amounts of assignments for all their classes. one of my friends told me one of her professors said, "... because i know you have nothing better to do." how is that fair?? this isn't our fault. anyway, i would love to see how you take notes. based on your to do list, i'm assuming you're a psychology major, so i would love to see a future career goals or a recap of how your major has been in college or something like that.

I go to college in the UK (getting ready to go to uni) and since my exams have been cancelled, teachers have been giving insane amounts of work so they have enough grades to work out our grades for university. There’s this sort of hourly rule of “do the same amount of work as you do in class at home”. I sit 12, 70 minute classes (4 for each subject). So I have to do 14 hours of classroom work online and then another 14 hours in my own time. Literally get no time to myself :/ anyway, hope everything calms down with the work and all! Stay safe!

I feel lucky that my mom got me home last week and I totally relate to you! Being home made me lazier (and I'm already pretty lazy lmao) but at least we got foods at home

I know this isn’t possible for everyone but what has helped me a LOT is having my work room apart from my bedroom. Meaning I won’t do Uni work in my bedroom at all so that I associate it with relaxing whilst having the productivity mindset in my other room (office). This other room can literally be any place outside of your bedroom by a window or something so that you can maintain clear thoughts. Just an idea that really works for me xx

I completely understand what you're going through with onlines classes, I feel the same. Today I had my first class online and I literally stopped taking note cause I felt so lost with everything. I’m also struggling with online classes for Psych at uni. I constantly forget about deadlines and feel like it’s way more work than it used to be. Yesterday i got so much done and the tip i have for that is to give yourself 30m-45m ‘timezones’ to go and study. In that timezone you remove everything like your phone etc and i just put on some music and started getting things done. In the first ‘study timezone’ i wrote down everything i had to do for every class in detail on some paper. Then after that time i could text friends or puzzle. And then after that again 30m-45m of studying in which i knew exactly what to do because of that organizing i did earlier. Hope that helps some of you🤍

So my plan after school is to stay where I’m at now and work at a local hospital because this town is cheap. Once I save up a little bit of money I honestly want to put some cities in a hat and draw one out and move there.

To stay focused maybe try setting up an area in your house outside your room to work on stuff. I know this isn't possible for everyone but if you can try that.

I haven't been in school since feb 3rd and what helps me is take brain breaks, so once you get one class done take a 10 minute brain break and set a timer for 10 minutes and once it goes off start working on another class

I’m currently a senior in college and I’m still struggling to wrap my head around all of this. Good news is we finally got a new date for graduation but none of my friends can go. But as for life after college I honestly have no idea. Normally I stress about this 24/7 (being the Virgo I am) but with this whole virus thing, I’ve kinda turned my focus away from my future. Right now all I can think about is getting through this obstacle, when the future comes I’ll deal with it then

Same, online seems much harder now. My professors are adding more and more work, I am not sure if its because we're home and in quarantine they believe we have all this free time but its getting a bit overwhelming, you know. Online courses was not the solution here in Jersey. I'm in my room most of the day and....its getting tedious....

Ive been having such a hard time with online classes:( I go to college in my hometown so im used to staying home during school but I like my classes in person because its easier to understand things in person. I usually take one online class as a buffer class so I can be laid back in that class so the good thing is I am used to online classes. It is just hard to stay motivated when all my classes are online. Also I love true crime things so any recommendations are welcome!:)
