just imagine, in however many years time when our generation has kids and they're faking sick, we can say we went through a plague and still managed to study
a Exactly. Because to tell the truth they have no idea what truly is going and what’s happening. Faking mental and physical illnesses doesn’t help because they don’t do any good to tell the truth. I’ve been diagnosed with mosaic Down syndrome in 1998 it’s the year I was born. I would never lie about my mental or physical illness. Mines is related to genetics and I’m person with a disability.
Oh my god, same! Being at home and not doing any social interactions with friends are really boring, but at the same time, we can actually sit back and relax for a little!
A moment of silence for all the class of 2020, I know we've lost a lot, from end of the year trips, prom, and some of us wont even walk the stage. Stay strong, and spend rhe rest of your high school the best you can
@@khamerinedmond9060 as someone who spent the last 7 years working hard to be valedictorian to not get an actual graduation this year .... i hope we at least get one in zoom 😤
1. maintain your routine 2. create a space for yourself 3. eliminate distractions 4. schedule and manage your time 5. turn in assignment early 6. communication 7. take care for yourself ^0^
My assignment is due next week but i finished it in two days because i wanted time to watch anime i managed to getting an A (and i thought i was the dumb one in my friend group)😂
okay, not only am i losing my brain cells, i'm losing my fitness as well bc the gyms are closed and i hate exercising at home bc i have two brothers that legit will not leave me alone... yay fun
dawnskies something you can do about exercise if you haven’t tried already is getting up before anyone in the house (or at least before your brothers get up) and exercise while they are sleeping
i can't afford a gym membership so i rearranged my room to fit down a yoga mat (about 5 feet long and 1 foot wide) to work out away from my family 😌 but that only works if you have your own bedroom
I KNOW. Lots of studying channels have macs/ apple and sometimes they do certain exclusive apple stuff and I just don't get how to do them in my computer :( Thanks for the nee video! 😊
I have no room and our house literally looks like a storage room coz of it's size and random shit everywhere + I hate seeing a human being while studying + our wifi is shit Then the teachers tells us to jUsT nOt be LaZy aNd dO tHe sHiT GiVe yOu Oh and I also feel that I'm depressed and has adhd coz I can't focus and is a verrry slow worker but no one would bother taking me to a clinic or some hell because itS jUsT mY mEnTaL hELTh i jUst nEeD tO tHiNk pOsiTiVe and sOoN iT'LL bE fInE :)
シsatiqedits lol i go to online school (not online school bc of covid just normal online school) but ive been to public and private and online school is much better
your tips make so much sense that it's lowkey scary. i have had the online classes going on for a week, and boy, have i been a lazy bum? it's so easy to procrastinate with online classes. i wake up super late, a few minutes before the class, and as soon as it is done, i go back to sleep. also, getting distracted is a given. when the classes go on, you will feel like checking your phone for just a minute, and then voila, you're on your phone for the rest of the class. also yes. scheduling and prioritizing your tasks is extremely important. staying at home, you're going to be more relaxed. you're going to think you have all the time in the world, but you DON'T. you still need to get all your work done, or it's going to be too late. take it from me, i am suffering already after procrastinating for so long T-T now that the entire thing has gone online, you need to remember that your uni website is going to crash every now and then because of the large traffic and pls, PLS don't wait for the last moment. whether it be signing up for your classes or even submitting your assignments. we had a lot of problems last week because the website that we used kept on crashing and a lot of us couldn't log into our classes. and this resulted in us missing classes. so don't do that, don't ruin your education pls. and another tip if the website keeps on crashing is to use incognito mode. it doesn't always work, but sometimes it does. and those sometimes that it works, it's like a blessing. so do that as well. also guys, be safe. stay home. i know it's boring and you miss school (i do terribly T-T) but our health and the health of those around us is important. so let's just sacrifice for a few more weeks okay? :)
Tommorrow i will start my online class . Due to COVID 19, the school create every class a whatsapp group with the teachers that will give you lessons. *i am both scared at COVID 19 and the online classes*
@@mochifuyu1452 I hope you do them well! In my country we hadn't started the first semester of 2020 so I don't know my professors or my classmates besides a couple of friends of mine. Perhaps that's why I am so anxious about it.
we were given booklets to complete like one page per class but thing is I have a irregular sleep pattern now where I wake up at 11am instead of my usual time which is 6 am or 7:30am, can someone give me advice on how to fix this cuz I'm struggling and i feel like I am going insane staying at home.
★★★I find writing school assignments quite exhausting due to strict deadlines and lots of requirements. I have been using this website called topedgewriters.com to help write my papers and so far so good. They have experts in all academic fields and you guys should check them out★★★
i've said this on your other video but again i really really love how sensitive you are to the differing situations of others especially in lifestyle, privilege, etc. its what makes you one of my favourite people in the study community 😙
my friends and i have been calling eachother before schools shut even though one of us doesn't go to the same school and sometimes we aren't even in the same classes we've been calling eachother every weekday so we can talk and do homework together. the main reason why we started doing it was because we were all complaining about having a lot of homework but couldn't find the motivation to do any.
Off topic but I think we have the exact same mouse! Also I found this really helpful because my school moved to home learning (not online classes but we just get told what to do) and I actually prefer it to school
I've been watching morning routines or study routines for last one year...But never have I come so close to feeling the warmth that your videos make me feel...your smile brightens my mood and makes me feel alive...Thanks for showing that little bit of hope and happiness can make the worst times better!!! ❤
singaporean students are still going to school after our one week march holidays and honestly i don’t see a problem with that, all my friends are saying things like we should just close down schools but there are SO MANY precautions being put into place! our recess is cut in half and we have allocated seats in the canteen so contact tracing is easier, temperatures are taken twice a day and once you hit the trigger temp and double checked with the teachers, you are immediately sent home. desks are separated into an exam style sitting to minimise the interaction with other students and morning assemblies are in the classroom instead of the parade square with the entire school. daily updates and also debunking fake news are given on whatsapp via a government link which is verified so we don’t fall for fake news as easily! i hope everyone is doing well and taking care of yourself and sleeping, eating and drinking well
It's good if people are also taking care of themselves... The problem with many places (other countries) is that they can't afford these steps in each and every place and people will take advantage so it's kinda just easier to tell people to stay at their homes..
My tips are: Tip#1 Don’t be nervous, stay confident, the teachers do notice you are nervous and will probably not really call on you to make you more comfortable remember, is not school you are digital!🧺 Tip #2 As she said in the video wake up earlier than the deadline, maybe set a timer make breakfast and make something that’s I’ll keep you fed during your first class session.🌸 Tip#3 Make sure you have a notebook or paper! If you don’t go buy some you will need it to take notes!☕️ Tip#4 If you don’t have paper and want to take notes go on google docs it will type down everything your teacher says!☁️ Tip#5 Make sure you are in a quiet space where no one will disturb you.☎️ Tip#6 PLEASE set playlist and timers for work and incomplete work also set timer for when your next class is starting.🍡 Pease stay safe I recommend you go digital in this time as corona is back in the rise!☺️
Thank you, Seo! My college also transitioned to online learning and it's been really hard to me to get used to it. Your tips are going to be really useful during this quarentine
1. Maintain routine 2. Create a space for yourself 3. Eliminate distractions 4. Schedule and manage your time 5. Turn in assignments early 6. Communication 7. Take care of yourself No need to say thanks ☺☺
Amazing tips! Thanks for sharing this video! I just started taking college courses online again and these tips are great! These are even great outside of the covid era for everyone, especially for high school students fresh out of high school and starting college. Colleg is so much less structured than high school and students make their own schedules. If they don’t have organization and discipline to keep track of everything in a planner, go to class, study, and complete all work, then they will not be successful or possibly slide by with grades that aren’t ideal. Not to mention they won’t really be learning anything. Also, I think it is great that you are humble and thankful for all you have, but you NEVER have to be apologetic, which is how you seemed to be in the beginning of the video. You never have to be apologetic for the blessings you have, just thankful and humble. To whom more is given, more is required. I think we can all expect great things from you!!!!! God Bless You and May He Empower You To Suceed In All You Do! -Lynne
@@Lara-ld2fj well.. I fell into the rabbit whole of tiktok. That's wasn't very productive at the end 😂 but it's bc of quarantine so if you chose to not install it you're still with much free time
For removing distractions, I use Forest (one of the apps mentioned) and I think that it’s definitely worth the money, but I wouldn’t recommend using the Chrome extension version of it.
Here we are starting school on August and I don't feel like studying bc I feel like all of the things I know about the future and past lessons disappears😢😭 Ya know what I mean?
Everyone else: I miss school Me: Living the best days of my life without physical school Our school had decreased our study material by 80% and reduced school hours from 10 to 6 which is heaven. But from all the memes I'm hearing American schools are increasing the study material... Ig.
Thanks for these tips. My college students will enjoy this video, I’m sure. The near depression is real and can interfere with studying. Great video. Thanks for sharing. Great energy!
you are incredible. Honestly, this encouraged me to continue with my content because I've been really frustrated with life lately and feel like no matter what I put in my videos won't matter. But your little notes about how you care about your viewers and smiled really made me happy too!
My granddaughter needed this video and it was really helpful for her. I've noticed that she has been following the tips you've given in the video. She also improved her academics in online classes. Super helpful. Keep making student-help videos because every student needs it. Just a little motivation for you. 🌱
for people who arent in the region to get flora like me, you can use baker - study focus timer app. its literally the same as forest but its with baking and its free. if u want to get it then u have to type flora or baker - study focus timer app or it wont come up
I am relatively early as my notifications finally worked and I am on break, but thank you so much! I needed this a lot because I am starting online schooling next monday and I have no idea how to begin or how to prepare, I definitely needed this to help me, since no one I know is ready for the transition, or has been able to transition since some of my friends have started this week summary: Thank you so much!!!
1:04 maintain your routine 2:20 create a space for yourself 3:08 eliminate distractions 4:22 schedule and manage your time 6:01 turn in assignments early 6:26 communication!!!!!
Me : laughs in "wakes up at 8am, exactly when school starts, doesn't even brush my teeth and goes straight to my chair and rushes all the work that was due ten days ago"
So sweet, caring and considerate. Really helpful tips which I find to be very true for myself as well. I don't understand how anyone can hate/ dislike this.
I'm the first. When you are too early and don't know what to comment. BTW, I love your videos very much. They are so aesthetic. Most of the students all over the world is now doing online classes. Your video will be very helpful for them. Thanks for the video on such topic.
That was the most heartfelt ,nice, considerate and the best advise i have ever seen in an outro👌🏾👍🏾(WHY ISNT THERE A HAPY TEARS EMOJI!!) for that you've got yourself a new subscriber and this is the first video i have watched on your channel
this video was used for syep in new york to show us how a college students deals with remote learning !! so cool that i found your channel through syep and i will be watching more of your videos
These tips are actually very useful. I'm in the same situation - my school also provides classes online, but they record the lectures and I have to get my butt to do stuff, because I don't have a strict set schedule. Making studying my daily habit has made it a lot easier. Thanks for the video and stay safe.
Honestly, this two weeks I have been 0 productive, and super stressed because my teachers just send me a bunch of homework and a date due. But the energy that you transmit in this video, GIRL!!!!!! THAT WAS WHAT I NEEDED!!! Thank you :)
I kinda like this channel bcuz she always looks at different perspectives ( like thinking of what others have ) luv lots Some youtubers are just thinking of what they have than what their viewer have so kudos to you
I see cuts on your wrist. I don’t know if just a scrape and I’m just making this comment for no reason but I think I should just say that I hope you’re healthy and happy.
Its just a scrape. I havemental issues myself and there's quite a big difference. But I still hope she knows we are here for her and sh isn't the best option. ♡♡
Urggh thank you so much for all your good advice! Was just about to slouch down onto my mattress to do online classes and as you said, not a good idea haha! Hope you're doing good on your classes and if they're still online, I really recommend to shift position once in a while (if you don't take written notes) like, I often shift to standing at my kitchen-counter in the afternoon, otherwise I'll be sleepy and loose focus while sitting down;;;
I literally just discovered you tbhstudying and I'm obsessed! :) Yu calm me down and give me tips to get through school! I hope all of you are feeling well! 🤓
As a 7th grade here in the Philippines homeschool or online classes are a very hard option because of the slow internet and stuff. What they do here is cancel all the exams and get the grades from your performance and recitation which sucks for others who doesnt recite. Lucky for those who has online classes🥺
