i’m thinking abt going to Georgia state, i graduate in 2022 and good news is i only live 2 hours from ATL..the thing is im so intimidated to be in that big of a city, and im also scared that im gonna get there and be all alone. BUT with that being said i want to go there and it’s one of my top schools right now….if u see this could u let me know what it was like for u freshman year and how getting around the city is ?❤️☺️😊
Hey I transferred to GA state and this is my honest review. Cons: The classes are like 10-15 minute walk. There are lots of traffic, parking is bad and there are homeless people on the street ( really sad ngl cuz I'm not used to seeing that so it really makes me sad) , it's kind of dangerous here (literally first time I came here, ppl were like "be careful, stay safe etc) like I try to avoid being outside in the night time. It's too crowded and the advisors aren't really helpful. A lot of ppl are commuters so it's hard to stay in contact sometimes. The pros: diversity, ppl here tend to be talkative so you can get to know people easily but it doesn't necessarily mean that they'd be your really good friend tho, you have access to everything cuz it's ATL and everything is close by. That's just my opinion by the way. It's not the best but it's ok tho. I hope you make the right decision. Stay blessed
