I don't know about you, but citrus fruits burn my dry skin and lips. Those are healthy. Just because something isn't good for your skin, doesn't mean it is bad for you (: Also you can have topical allergies and not internal ones. I get hives if olive oil touches my skin, but nothing happens if I eat it. Though that usually involves it touching my lips, so I avoid that
