Filmed during the spring of 2023
The Colliers yard in Salford near Manchester City centre is taking shape and coming out of the ground. The other tower next to the river (Careys) has also started work again. This area of the city has several skyscrapers being built and finished. Tucked away beneath is the eagle pub which is still open. Close to Manchester arena, Victoria station and Deansgate, this destination must be up there with Deansgate Square.

Manchester and Birmingham keep pushing each other to be the second city.

Birmingham is a larger city and Manchester and Salford combined could potentially take the title.

@@jonldronevideos Manchester population 553,000 Salford 270,000 Birmingham 1,145,000...There is more than a good skyline required to make a city worth spending time in and our much maligned 2nd city is really getting its act together on that score.
