47Sukhoi He has everything, expect the kickboxing qualities. Badr has exposes the heavyweight division BIG time. Rico didn’t get knocked down for 16 fights or something. A 35 year old Badr came and knocked him down twice, I mean where are we talking about ? 😂 Rico wouldn’t make the 2D round with a 26 year old Badr. The WHOLE kickboxing world knows this.
He was loosing the first two rounds, but he is right with the fact that a fight has five rounds and anything can happen. Many of the fights Rico won in the last rounds. It was unfair from some fans to boo him out. He had the courage to go in a fight with Badr Hari two times. Its not Ricos fault, when Badr looses with TKO because of injury. He showed respect to Badr Hari and his fans and also offered him a 3rd fight, if he is healthy again. Thats good sportsmanship
@blayzertrayl thats exactly my toughts he couldnt handle 5 rounds he whas already breathless in the 3 his legs where completly smashed exactly as the first fight same thing his arm now his leg . From all these low kicks he hat to take the legs where smashed simple no excuse 10yars ago he hat won this fight maybe now no and there will not be a third fight . Maybe 2 round fight than
Nice speech from Rico, pity about the fight but rather than coming away disappointed now I feel pretty good about it after listening to him talk. And guys in his defence, this is Glory, like if ever there was a sport where it can change in 1 second, this is it.

Both fighters are risk their live to entertain us... you have to consider that. Maybe the next fight will bring the truth. But what is the truth? The truth is both fighters are great.

I was surprised to see people being so on Badr side and disrespectful to Rico, when you take into account that most of the people in the arena live in the Netherlands. Instead of simply enjoying the moment together people search for reasons to being divisive :( I loved being there live. Thank you for this great event 🙏🏻🙏🏻

amateur AQUATICS IT SUCKS. They only contract the weak heavyweights. They dont have the balls to contract Guys like Saki, Londt or Other serious heavyweights. They contract a 35 year old Badr because they think he is to old to beat Rico, iT almost went wrong. The heavyweight division is a BIG joke man. Compare this with the K1, its like you compare the CL with the EL.
The points up on till the third round: 1st round 10-8 badr (knockdown) 2rd round 10-9 rico 3rd round 10-8 badr (knockdown) Badr was winning this fight bigtime with 3 points ahead.
Rico was not only talking perfectly valid, rational points, but he also showed what a normal, mature human being he is, with the depolarizing speech near the ending of the video. HUGE RESPECT FOR HIM!

Incredible how he handled this and turned it into something so positive and true! Its not just a random distraction, because its known that making kickboxing bigger as a sport is an important goal for Rico! Congrats man! Lets hope next time will be a more satisfying victory!
