GARM does not have any control in leveraging any law. They are simply a tool for companies to use (or not use) when determining the best outlet to reach their customers and potential customers. No one is forced to join GARM, but companies that do are still free to make that determination. If you are a business owner and do not want to use GARM as a tool for determining where you spend your advertising dollars, then don’t.

I'm not going to do any timestamps because the whole hearing was him getting disproven, and humiliated. Firstly, the fact he was exploited by the most desperate, and greasiest GOP, to peddle an already debunked conspiracy, in a Congressional hearing, which are meant for fact witnesses, to craft actual legislation, was humiliation #1. Then, when he complained about not being rich enough, was humiliation #2. Then, was thoroughly humiliated throughout the rest of the hearing, as he was disproven about his assertions of "being targeted, and harmed, for being conservative", none of which was true, or proven with any empirical evidence. Then, was further disproven by the GARM witness' testimony, and the Unilever witness, as well as, some of the democratic members. He was disproven about his hyperbolic conjecture about there being a "censorship cartel", as he was given the definition, and criteria for what constitutes an actual cartel, none of which he proved. Then, the same method was used to disprove his claims of anti-trust law violations, after defining anti-trust law, and the criteria needed to be proven to constitute violations, none of which he had proven. I can do this all day, but my first paragraph pretty much sums it up, without having to baby-walk you through it anymore.
