This song gives me chills, I feel like a giant creature has been awoken by the sounds of the sea. The waves, the sharks surrounding the creature. It's like things we thought were just greek mythology, was real
LOL It's kind of like Satan or the great beast from the Book of Revelations For in that book I believe it does say that the great beast will rise out to the ocean if I am correct with my knowledge
"The metal in its spine crackled at every turn as if it screamed in unrest, as an ancient, tired force demanding to be left undisturbed, enraged by awakening to perform its duty one final time." - The Watchtower
This version of the song is utterly sublime. It conjures a primal sense of wonder. It makes me want to explore the universe and simultaneously to hide in a corner and remain content that I don't know the terrible things that lurk in the depths of the sea
I’m a Puerto Rico native and this reminds me of the time I was snorkeling and I accidentally came across an underwater sinkhole. All of a sudden the shallow reef just dropped off and all you could see was blue around you and nothing else. Dark blue towards the bottom. It gave me the feeling that I was truly at mercy of the ocean
Congratulation to the singer! His voice was made for this song. The union of singing the bass, tenor 1 and 2 part is working perfectly. This gives me chills and goosebumps
The song is a sea shanty Like drunken sailor or Randy dandy O' Hans Zimmer just recycled a, theme from a Wesley snipes move to make the pirates of the Caribbean music
The king and his men Stole the queen from her bed And bound her in her bones The seas be ours Beyond the powers Where we will, we'll roam Yo, ho, all hands Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die Yo, ho, haul together Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die Yo, ho, haul together Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die
I listened to the 8d version of this music in the dark, tired, with my eyes closed and with good headphones. It is a very special hearing experience in my opinion. It makes you shiver 😨
Lyrics The king and his men Stole the queen from her bed And bound her in her bones The seas be ours And by the powers Where we will, we'll roam Yoho, all together Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die! Yoho, haul together Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die! !
The king and his men Stole the queen from her bed And bound her in her bones The seas be ours And by the powers Where we will, we'll roam Yoho, all hands Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die Yoho, haul together Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die x2
Close, very close, but not quite. It's not "And by the powers" it's "Beyond the powers". The line "we'll roam" is also actually "we'll row". furthermore, the first "all together" is "all hands". Thanks for posting the lyrics!
This seriously gives me goosebumps but in a good way. Makes one feel as though with a determined small group of friends you can take on any foe and be victorious
Imagine hearing this in your house at the seaside, while all the forgotten warriors sunken at the bottom of the ocean emerged on a dark starless foggy night and witnessing it all through your window.
@@kxnggeppetto no. You wouldn’t. You can like Lovecraft and the mythos and whatnot. But if it were real, you would definitely not summon anything because we would all immediately die
@@williambarrantes1674 I was joking about that first part, you're right, I definitely wouldn't, cause I would crap myself thinking about these cosmic beings being out there. I would most likely be the guy who paints the Elder Sign (I think that's what it was called) on his walls, cause it's said to prevent these beings from influencing you
Verse] The king and his men stole the queen from her bed And bound her in her bones The seas be ours beyond the powers Where we will, we'll roam [Chorus] Yo, ho, all hands Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die Yo, ho, haul together Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die Yo, ho, haul together Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die
As a navel ship was sailing, happily celebrating their captain’s 100th sinking of a pirate ship… They laughed on the first ship where a pirate had a single lover who died as a witch and laughed at how the captain swore vengeance at the noose. Then… this Melodious song fills their ears, their body, mind, and soul. The crew rush about, searching for the source, slowly found their minds bombard by countless voices when they were on the top deck. The captain grabbed his spyglass and looked forward to see a storm… but this storm was herald by a ship. A vessel that shouldn’t be able to grace the waters. Tattered sales, cannon holes, and yet it sailed forward. The crew… men to have been cursed by god to become these scaled beasts now. They sang, sang in unison as he felt terror in his heart, and prayed to the Lord that it was madness when he saw the captain… A man in his heavy coat, his voice seem to dominate the crew to lead this maddening song. Soon, the storm swallowed them as the wrath of the Heavens fell. Soon, when the ships were to clash now… He heard that familiar voice say those last words on that dreadful day of execution…. _”Never shall we never die…”_ On the captain merely understood this… He saw the the wrath of a pirate who had loved, willing to sell even his soul.
Yoooo we need a redemption book on this, make this the captain’s backstory. Someone new as the main character or the captain. He needs a new crew, and ship hardy enough to take down the beastly galleon.
I’m imagining Rod Bladestar at his campfire waiting to fight, I got Rue Artema leading the congregation looking pissed, and Duke Bree at the barricade ready to sling rocks and stir up trouble to motivate the troops.
Imagine a scenario where in your at sea with your family on a cruise to go to a certain and you play this and all of a sudden the skies become darker and darker and the ocean waves becomes more violent and rain and thunder fell from the sky and when you look the water you see two red glowing lights in the water and it was getting closer and closer until you see a creature so massive it was bigger than the boat and you thought of one thing "cthulhu"
0:00 As he stood on the beach under the starry night sky, his hair covered his eyes as he saw his loved one dead on the ground seeing her blood stain the clear sand, 0:40 he grinned in anger and rage as the wind started to pick up with the clouds rolling in and engulfing the entire sky slowly turning as dark as the ocean, 1:00 his hands slowly become claws as it starts to rain with the wind growing stronger, the ocean starting to become wild as he slowly starts walking towards the person who murdered his love, 1:19 as he slowly lifts his head up, he glares straight into the murderers eyes as his glow blue and become blue crocadilian eyes, when he does so, lightning strikes behind him revealing the shadow of the monster deep inside of his heart, 1:56 the wind became wild as the waves and rain went out of control, as he stopped right Infront of the murderer glaring into their terrified eyes, he ended their life with one single swipe of his claws, no longer having any reason to live or fight, 2:15 he walks back to his dead loved one and sits down, he slowly holds her lifeless body close to him and breaks down crying holding her close to him, knowing that his true happiness has been forever taken away from him
Imagine with me: Humanity began focusing on exploring the seas instead of space. Scientists have discovered an Ancient kindom peeking mid-way through the Mariana Trench. Driven by curiosity, they enter the kingdom, only to find what they had thought was a Giant Sculpture. It was so big that the scientists where frightened by how huge that thing was. The immediately began their research in hopes of finding to whom this Ancient mythology belongs. Driven by their intrusion, they haven't yet realized that this was the lair of the beast, the tremendous Cthulhu. Awoken by their disturbance, the beast emerged from the sea. The Sky was filled with dark clouds as if today was humanity's last day. A dawn where humanity will face the consequences of their actions. (hope you liked it, i made that up while listening to this song. And excuse my bad english, i'm not an English speaker so i'm really sorry for any grammatical mistakes.)
Child: "Daddy can you sing me a lullaby?" Colm: "Of course honey" *inhales* Child: "But not one that will make me wet the bed in terror" Colm: "Oh, right. Uhh, give me a sec"
LYRICS : The King and his men stole the Queen from her bed... And bound her in her bones... The seas be ours beyond the powers, Where we will, we'll roam. Yo-ho, all hands, Hoist the colors high. Heave-ho, thieves and beggars, Never shall we die ! Yo-ho, all together, Hoist the colors high ! Heave-ho, thieves and beggars, Never shall we die ! Yo-ho, all together, Hoist the colors high ! Heave-ho, thieves and beggars, Never shall we die !
This is song litteraly makes me feel scared and still wondering whats over those 5% of the ocean we discovered, it has a vibe of a monster hiding under the unknown parts of the sea and i FRICKING LOVE IT AND CANT STOP SINGING IT!
You know, speaking of that 5% that's all it took for NASA to change right around and start trying to get us off earth, just makes this a little more chilling
This is giving me the sort of vibes you’d get when (imagine) a monster comes out from the oceans, another one from the jungle forests, another one from the deserts, another one gets awakened from the pyramids, and all you could hear is this music as you hear loud footsteps all around you, then just silence and one of the monsters ends up destroy a whole city with just one hand/tail/foot/mouth/wings/claws, and then you hear someone say “this is what humanity gets for destroying us”
you're out fishing, the ocean is still and misty in the early morning. The wind begins whispering and as the gusts blow your boat the song becomes louder and louder. As the sound becomes deafening and the wind howls, the mist retreats to reveal a corsair, black sails and the torches bearing a pale green flame. The crew look as if they are one with the mist around you. You watch in horror as the ship sinks into the black water and disappears as the mist dissipates and the wind dies.
0:41 I close my eyes and imagine myself with my favorite crew members sailing through a cave towards endless treasure while crystal clear blue waterfalls cascade down all around us. The caves walls covered in florescent gems of different colors.... and the water sparkling like glitter...... on the way to everlasting serenity. And a giant bottle of rum and a pipe of hash..... The Dream....
Slipped this into my tripping playlist and it came on one weekend, completely forgetting I put it in. This is a must listen if you're into the creepy vibes when on mushies. Niche thing I know, but bone chillingly awesome when elevated like that.
Just imagining a ship and the crew singing and then they hear a deep voice coming from below the ship. They all sing, synchronized in fear as the monster emerges in front of them. Water slapping onto the boat, shaking them side to side whilst stopping them at once at the same time. The singing slowly stops as both the creature and the men stare at each other deep in the eyes. The monster then sinks back into the ocean, again splashing water into the ship. No one would believe the crew, they knew that.
Love this song!! It brings such a mythological feeling. To me I imagining Cthulu rising from the deaths of the ocean and this music playing in the background.
pov: you stumble into what looks to be an ancient temple. upon entering the room your mind hazes and you suddenly feel dizzy, further inspection of the room tells you, you're not alone. you stare up to the great old one as your mind and mentality breaks and shatter. you now walk the beach, a husk of your former self.
