Haha. I brought my box into UPS on February 14. I thought about telling the counter guy, Happy Valentines day.. here's a gift of my poop, but not sure how that would've landed.

Hmm...maybe this is a design flaw where Cologuard should just have people mail it back in a regular box. Then again the cologuard box lets UPS know they are handling doody so they are careful not to throw the box around cuz thats one box you definitely don't want to break open.

Not quite the same thing but when I was a student I once had to provide a *fresh* stool sample and bring it over to the lab personally before 10 am that day. That same morning my roommate introduced me to her new boyfriend and we sat in the kitchen together while they had a huge breakfast. "So, are you sure you only want coffee? Since when do you drink your coffee black? Ah, just a little yoghurt then. What, are you sure you want a cigarette? When did you start smoking???"

Not really copied. In the skit you linked to, it’s just a guy pooping into the box and the box doesn’t like it. Less clever than the SNL take on it imo.

You think it wouldn't be after everything it's been through over the years (deaths, behind-the-scenes drama, other sketch shows threatening to upstage it, the shift to Internet entertainment, political correctness killing humor, bad writing, miscasts, etc), but, unlike "The Simpsons", I can still laugh at Saturday Night Live, even if some of their episodes might not be funny 100% of the time (With "The Simpsons", I just pretend the show ended after the season 13 Halloween episode where Homer gets cursed by a gypsy fortune teller, Pierce Brosnan guest stars as an automated house trying to kill Homer so he can have Marge, and a broad strokes "Harry Potter" parody where Springfield Elementary is now a school for kid wizards).

@@DrewSoucy22 hmmm. That was a bit over the top. On a serious note that may not interest you, I had Colin cancer as well as my daughter 20 years later. I was 51 and she was 41 when she was diagnosed. We both did not have symptoms but got a colonoscopy. Mine was resolved with surgery but she needed surgery and chemo. I hope this funny skit makes everyone aware that testing is a great option we have.
