On a recent trip to Virginia, we spent a day in Colonial Williamsburg taking in the Christmas festivities. Our previous video shows you the Christmas Market and the colonial Christmas decorations, which we love seeing. But as the sun began to go down on our day in Williamsburg, torches were lit, festive music and dancing rang throughout town, and fireworks lit up the night sky. We will show you what it is like to celebrate the season the Colonial way. Join us as we party like it's 1799!

This is lovely Colonial Williamsburg makes one thing of the days gone by.the performers are good, their uniforms again reminds me of the good old days,their performance brilliant.Thanks again so much for sharing.

This looks like such an interesting experience. They have been doing this since 1934! So cool. All the performers played their roles very well and were believable. The puppet show was a nice touch. He called her a "battle-axe." I thought it meant something more offensive that it actually does. I looked it up and it's the perfect description for Ginger! 😂😂😂 Jack had the escape plan down! The caroling and bells at night would've made the event for me. The fireworks were also done really well. Way better than anything I've seen in a while.

Love the band and the traditions taught to its guests. 😂😂. A puppet show no less. Love the large variety of time period music they provided. The palace and fireworks and lighting of the Christmas tree were just so pretty.

We enjoyed visiting Colonial Williamsburg with you Alice and Jack. We've been there before, but never at this festive time of year! We enjoyed seeing the young re-enactors and their music. I don't think I've ever seen that practical costume/uniform before that the musicians wore. We enjoyed the wonderful show and the fireworks! It's great that they did them from 2 places to accommodate all the folks. Thanks so much for bringing us along and hope you both and your family had a wonderful Christmas!

I loved this presentation Alice and Jack. The Costumes and stepping back in time has been most enjoyable. Even Punch and Judy made an appearance. The African Americans even get recognition. Loved the fire works too. Thank you for taking us along. Merry Christmas. ♥🌲🎅🏻🔔🤠👍🏼🙏🏼

Playing ads, no skipping. What a wonderful way to spend the day and night! The lights and fireworks were absolutely beautiful. Loved seeing all men in uniform and the performance and parade, it was so cool to see. I've not been to anything like this before. Awesome video, like 38, thanks for sharing!!

Jack will be glad to know he is not alone in his commitment to avoid dancing in public. I don't think I have seen him dance in public since our wedding reception years ago.

These colonial homes are so pretty. These period performances are so good. Crazy part it really wasn’t that long in the Grand Scheme of things. Did you guys get matching colonial outfits 😂. This place is huge. Would have love to see Jack dancing. What a fun event.

Oh this is colonial Williamsburg?! I've hears about it a few times on shoes and movies but i never really knew what it was! Im actually all for places like this, sometimes its fun to lose yourself in a fantasy!
