My parents had time share condos near Williamsburg VA. I’ve walked around Colonial Williamsburg probably a dozen times. Nice shopping near by. Great memories. Definitely gives you a feeling of how life was many years ago.

Love Love Love Williamsburg!! I have been many times. A true iconic American historical location that all should see. Enjoyed this segment. Well done. I especially enjoy the wreaths during the Holidays as they are so creative using natural ingredients.

My family and I absolutely LOVED Colonial Williamsburg. It was so authentic and we felt so lucky to partake in the cultural activities of that time. However the airport near it was another story. In fact it was the complete opposite of the freedom that Colonial Williamsburg was showcasing. Since the CIA is right nearby they were most probably training TSA people to catch “terrorists”. However at 9:00 a.m., my husband and son and I were the only people in the airport and we were all grilled by them. In fact they used a flashlight to look at our faces and demanded sternly that we “STATE OUR NAMES”….and my son who was only about 9 years old was becoming fearful and I was getting angry. They questioned us about where we went, why we went there, and if we had anything in our bags that we wanted to declare. They then proceeded to open up our carry on bags and went through them. After we were deemed “safe” we went to our gate and waited. When I went to use the ladies room, a woman with a trash can and broom followed me in and sat in the booth next to mine and was speaking into her walkie talkie stating, “that’s a negative”. So I was very disappointed by the behavior of our government officials with regard to American citizens, it felt honestly as though the freedom that our country was founded on was all in the past and in todays world it is turned upside down where government has overstepped its boundaries and needs to be readdressed in a way that prevents the attempt to destroy all that American stood for.

I love colonialWilliamsburg . Fall is is one of my favorite times to visit there. Loved all the history. Beautiful place to visit anytime of the year.
