Well. You posted this Father's Day, no wonder I didn't see it. We spent a good day with my dad. Mama went on to Jesus last July and daddy decided to sell the house we moved into in 1963. He now lives in an apartment for seniors. It is nice. But we've had a learning curve of how to do holidays, still honoring some family traditions but without a big house, yard and creek for all the kids to play. I am thankful that Dad is doing as you recommend and choosing to make his life good as he can. But Father's Day was a blast for him. My little brother and his family brought homemade tamales, we had plenty of sides and I made a freezer of homemade peanut butter ice cream. It's Mama's recipe and Daddy's favorite thing. He invited in several of his elderly neighbors who did not have family visiting so we celebrated all those older people. Daddy has called me and my brother multiple times to say thank you. I am just recovering today but it was fun and a great blessing to have his neighbors be there with us. He keeps thanking us. I keep reminding him that he and Mama raised us right. I do not mention to him that Mama would haunt me if we did not keep up the family things for dad! All worth it tho. I do feel so bad for some of those people whose kids just live so far away. Daddy is 80 miles from me and one brother and 120 miles from our other brother. It can be hard but it's good there's 3 of us to take turns.

My Sunday's are always busy! We have church and Sunday School in the morning, come home for a couple of hours and go back for the evening service. Now I am just sitting here catching up on my RU-vid videos and crocheting. Praise God for the news you received from your doctor about the infusions. Happy Father's Day to Big Daddy!

Im here at 2 am listening to your voice hoping it will relax me back to sleep. I was skeeping on the edge of rhe bed earlier and was dreaming deeply and physically reacted to my dream and fell out of bed!! Pinched a nerve in my wasteline and hurt my hips a bit. Took meds and slept. Im better. But need more sleep. Ive done this twice before. I gotta,stop that!! Im 60 not 6!😂

Happy Father's Day, Big Daddy! I'm glad you two were able to do some recovering from a very difficult couple of weeks. We celebrated at our daughter's and son-in-law's. His parents came over along with a number of family members. Had a nice BBQ. Very relaxing.

FInished up the border on a blanket and decided that "today was the day" that I'd see if I still remembered HOW to color :-) Thanks so much for the inspiration, I've enjoyed coloring right alongside you this evening. I have some coloring books I’m going to start on as soon as I get moved. Ollie’s is where I got some of mine. Happy Father’s Day Jodie😎 Hope your weather settles down, and doesn’t get too hot too fast this summer. It’s already too hot and humidity is dreadful!! Wa shocked at how expensive colored pencils are!!! I’m glad the infusions are slowing the progress of the disease🙏🏻

My aunt passed away from scleraderma in 1969 Left a husband and 7 children. I was only 8. Very traumatic for our family. Now my niece has it. She's late 40's. 😢
