The first time I used Color Oops I did not wash it out long enough. The results were still pretty good but I'm going to try it again after about 6 months. Thank you for all the good advice! It was actually enjoyable to watch your demo. Great job! And it is hard to still look beautiful with a plastic bag on your head but you did it🌸
Thank You!! So many people say that this product doesn't work...But i have been using it for years and it is the best and isn't as harmful to your hair as bleach. Another tip is while your rinsing use a clarifying or dandruff shampoo :) and ye always start at the ends. Your scalp produces heat and the product will react faster on your roots.
I'm so happy i came across your video yes its from 2016, but your hair color in this video at the beginning is the closest to my current hair color and i was wanting to change it up so thank you for this i will try this out :) !
SAME!!!!! I had dyed reddish brown hair and wanted purple hair so I got a black purple dye which was WAY too dark. I'm going to wait a few weeks and continue looking for color oops I hope it works on my hair....I've been dying it dark for 13 years
I tried it yesterday on my burgendy hair oooooops i love itttt . it took alllllllll away the unwanted color and i wash it several time like u but i left the conditioner longer and wash it and then i applied hair lite oil spray my hair is so sooooft and my higlits oh amaiziiiiiiing i hope u undertand my broken english haha i tried to explain that is amaaaaaaizing product and i wanna say it work on higligts if u wanna remove the orengish parts excuse my vocabulary 🤗🤗
I went to the salon just for a toner because my hair was blonde at the ends and I wanted it less light. I picked a color that had a tiny touch of brown in it. My hair was a very light yellow and I wanted it to be a more warm blonde. The lady colored my hair a disgusting red uneven color. I was so upset I refused to pay. After that I picked up the extra strength color remover and now my hair looks really good.
If you put Olaplex in with the lightener or hair color it protect sit and prevents dryness a cheaper one is ion Absolute Perfection Booster. Its like a filler but better. If you had applied heat or wrapped your head with a towel to make heat it would have worked better would have made it lighter. You can do this again it should lift more. Keratin masks are great too.
Girl you hair looks gorgeous, I did mine today on my apartment hallway 😂living in New York we don’t have space, this stuff works !!!!!! smells like a perm process 😊
Color oops does dry the shit out the hair, or maybe it's the many times you have to wash your hair out. Idk. All I know is I did a deep conditioning treatment afterwards and I was fine. I am planning on using it again because I wanna go lighter for the summer but that shit stinks so bad, so I'm waiting for the weather to warm up so I can open my windows
Good job. When you're done try using a color depositing conditioner like Overtone and it will take care of the protein and the color all in one step while being much better for your hair than box color :)
thanks so much! I used this last night exactly as the instructions direct and it worked perfectly. your video was EXTREMELY HELPFUL and made me not as scared to use the Color Oops. thanks much!
Jills Closet I was wondering my hair is natural blonde an I've been dying my hair for awhile and I mean awhile .. an now it's kinda redish brown an if I used color oops would it take me to like a or orangeish blonde?.
You are so lucky it turned out so beautiful I purchased the box I had the exact same color you have and it turned my hair yellow blonde and I was so upset I just wanted it to get to that nice pretty light auburn color yours did and my hair just lightened so quickly I only left it on 15 minutes after I saw it started turning really lite I hurried to the shower to rinse.... I went back to the dark because I didn't want to chance putting a light color on and then it gets weird and brassy so my next stop will be at the salon so I can get it where I want it thank you for sharing though your hair turned out beautiful💕
Has anyone used it on hair that's been box dyed for a few years? I did the Vit C/ Head and Shoulders trick 3 times and I could see the color come out in the shower each time but it didn't fade it really at all. I want to try this but I don't want to use this if it's not going to work.
WOW THAT HAIR COLOR WAS GORGEOUS. HOW COME YOU DIDN’T LIKE IT? You look even younger with no eye make up. So cute and youthful. Beautiful hair, too! I like your hair a lot with that center part. :-)
love ur video! after watching tons of vids i kept going back to yours! after i used color oops,i washed it 4/5 times, used 2 boxes because my hairs waist long. How do you get rid of the smell out of your hair? im 55yrs old.Thanx! teri
Hi Terri! it just takes a couple days to fade away. I know it's unpleasant! A good wash and condition in a day or so should do the trick! Thanks for your feedback!
I use" Native" brand sham/cond... and that stuff is pricey but makes my hair soo soft!!! Coconut scent also.....and yeah me sitting here watching videos before using color oops😮😂😂😂 idk now!!
You are just adorable. Love your bubbly personality. I just bought the color oops today and am getting ready to use it. I am wondering... I have some natural roots.. should I still apply the color oops to my roots with my natural color? I am wanting to color a few days after with a different box dye. What are your thoughts on that?
This is an old comment but I ruined my hair doing this mayne 5 times in 4 months. I think I have OCD .. .but this actually made my hair SO thin and lifeless. So mad at myself. I went back to black now to try and heal my hair from all the damage.
if you add the protein filler will it be safer to dye since i did mine it got too black was going for blonde so will the filler be needed to achieve the blonde
Alyssa Canales I don't think a filler will help when removing the dye. going from black to blonde is really difficult and might take a few processes. I'd be nervous to attempt that on my own, but I'd look for videos specifically for that if you're set on trying it at home. The protein filler helps fill in the gaps caused from all the damage we do to our hair.
I think its because you mightve needed to use a semi permanant colour after? That happened to my hair when i used colour b4 and stupidly used a permanant colour.
Auroura Salcido after how long I can strip the color again? I just used it today and it turned out copper brassy because I had boxed colors under, I’m trying to go light brown but I’m worried if I color it now will go back to black again
So Basically I dyed my hair two years ago and I kept on dying it and it was killing my hair my hair is naturally brown and my hair is looking ginger so do you think this would work because apparently this damages your hair?
Paulina Hörling I got it at Ulta, but you can also find it at Walgreens. It should remove most hair colors, but it does say on the box it's not meant for pastel colors like pink and blue. Good luck!
Heather Thompson it didn't! that's odd. the next time I colored my hair it took the color really fast and it appeared darker than what I wanted, though.
