If you go to the Color the World site, you will see all five star reviews. This immediately throws up a red flag for me. When you look at their FB page, you will not see any negative posts because the company deletes them. I know this because mine was deleted. I purchased two lipsticks from them. The tubes are made of colored cardboard and I had trouble removing the top. The bullet of lipstick is about half the length of normal lipstick, so you're getting less product. The colors were not even close to being the same as shown on the CTW website. They advertise "no feathering" but I experienced mega feathering. After applying the lipstick, my lips felt moisturized and smooth -- until an hour later when almost all the color had disappeared and I was left with dry lips. If Color the World deletes bad reviews and posts, if they misrepresent the benefits of their product, if they don't disclose how small the product is, and if they advertise one color and send another . . . why would I believe that they really do give money to charity?
Did it feather?! You did well on your first video, but we needed to hear the names a couple of times and see you try the lipsticks. I waited to the end to find out if they feathered and now I don't know! I like your look and the concept. There's a learning curve, but you have a lot of potential. Good luck!

As a master makeup artist I can tell you Maybelline 24hr Superstay is an excellent product that truly does NOT feather, bleed or transfer. Many of these products from FB ads you need to be wary of.
It's my understanding that this line of lipsticks are actually by Maybelline. It could be a savvy marketing strategy with the "contribute to a cause when you buy", however. One just never knows just how much is contributed, right? I agree that the 24 hr Superstay is excellent. I haven't order any and may not since I'm reading here that they are drying.
I have to say, I've been wearing their lipsticks for over three years, and I love them. But I put a lot of thought into what colors I would order. If you ordered without thinking it through, well, as you say, it's kind of your fault. 😞
GNO stands for Girls Night Out. I have Hunter (a bit too cool pale) on me ,GNO and Flirt a pinkish coral shade. They are okay but I would wait for a sale I do like that they donate to charity. Some of the colors are not as they appear on the website and you cannot return or exchange if you hate the shade. The only concern I can think of. Kisses looked like a nicer pink than Hunter. I made it work with a warmer toner lip pencil underneath.
Could you name the lipsticks again. I liked the second one. You did just great on your first video. I'm sure you had the fear of the unknown, well now thats over with. I wish I had listened to you. I didn’t and ended up ordering two of their lipsticks (Foxy and Glamberry). I too found them drying and they accentuated the lines in my lips. I contacted the company through email and Facebook, and have not received a response. Very poor customer service, in my opinion.
Beware !! The lipsticks from Color the World looks nothing like the pictures that are on their website. Trying to buy lipstick online is probably not a good idea and at best it is a gamble. I bought four different shades(stupid me) and all four are unwearable and look terrible on me. Also, no returns or refunds ladies.
I have bought two and love them both. Smooth, comfortable and no feathering. It is hard to buy online but they do have a helpful bit on cool vs warm skin tones and which colors work best.
Plump it up felt great but is much lighter and more gray/purple than it looks on the page. I ordered a few more so I hope they work better. The key is ordering on sale.

I agree...be wary...I ordered 3 tubes, and not so impressed. Very short wearing, does not stay put, and the cardboard tubes are going to stain if you throw them in a makeup bag with other products. I would compare it to a nice tinted lip balm, but not an all day product.
I know this is an old post, but I have no idea why so many people boast about 24 hour super stay. It is extremely drying, and fades around the inner area of the lips. Definitely not for everyone.
