The term is hijabi but yes I totally agree! Showing diversity is important in tackling discriminatory standards like white supremacy, racism, islamophobia, etc.

Such a fun video! I’m glad I watched it before getting dressed today 👌 I think about color theory a lot when I’m knitting sweaters but for some reason I never thought about it for a full outfit
The power of color theory well explained! Speaking of color theory, I bought a button up shirt that I never really wore but once or twice. It has four different shades of color in it (red, orange, green and blue). I once received a good compliment on it but I still consider the shirt to be a little too loud! I've recently decided to just wear it on special occasions. Wearing a lot of color in one outfit has to be really planned well but where as toning the outfit down can be easier.
Great video Jessica as so many out there get this soooo wrong unfortunately, I do think this needs to be shown every few yrs as people forget as new fashions come into play and everyone goes off the deep end again, maybe replay this 5yrly.🤩💗

I think it's just so fun to venture out and try out new colors. From the past I have avoided mustard yellow but now I love it! I look great in it. I think we all have to try it out for ourselves instead of saying it's not the right color(s) for me.

Hi Jess, great job delivering a somewhat puzzling topic....for me at least.... combining colors is somewhat of a challenge! I still feel unsure about colors for a shoe & handbag when putting an outfit together, both are 2 of my favorite items to wear!!! Love to see that featured in a video thanks!!! 💟💜💟
I can REALLY appreciate all the work that goes into videos like this. And it's fascinating. I just wish I watched more videos when they actually posted instead of going on binges later on.
So my question is have you seen the Color Me Beautiful color palettes? For example your orange blouse is a muted yellow-toned orange and the blue is a muted yellow-toned blue. It would fall into the autumn palette. The theory being there are four basic color groups people look best in. Colors are generally either yellow based or blue toned. Then each of the two groups also has muted and bright groupings. All the colors within a grouping work together. You find the one that suits you best and build a wardrobe where every hue is the right tone and saturation for your skin tone. You did a fantastic job explaining color theory!!
Super cool! I've watched a couple videos on pairing colors in clothes/makeup/etc., but I personally think I got a lot more out of this one than all of them combined. I know I mentioned this in a comment on a previous video, but one thing that might be pretty cool is pairing hairstyles/makeup/etc. with outfits in a way that they compliment each other, since I know that's one thing that I find to be a bit of a process. All in all, you've done it again, Jess!
Been thinking whether I should purchase more neutral and nude clothes because I see most people wear them but, I have always been such a fun of wearing colors so I'm still hesitant. Grateful for this video 🤍

I love the different kinds like complementary colors, but I’ll have one or two of the colors but I’m always missing one so it always ends up looking bad lol
