I LOVE watching and listening to your process! I appreciate no music, just you adding your comments as to what and why you are doing as you go along. I can't be the only one who feels like they can't ever get a super smooth and blended transition (with markers or pencils), so it's so refreshing to see you not spend 2 hours on blending! And adding all the acrylic pen and highlights and WOW-- another work of art! Thanks for these videos Maia. You encourage me to keep going!

Wow, Maia, it was so fun to watch this page come to life! I have started using alcohol markers a lot more as a base in these type of one sided books. It is cool to see the process of alternating between the markers, pencil, acrylic paint pens, and watercolor. I hope to color in this book this month. I love Jen Racine’s work. The speed is a little fast, but we can always slow the speed, so I wouldn’t change it if I were you. The Prisma grays are absolutely amazing.The black flash paint is the perfect touch at the end. ❤

Hi, Maia. Your channel is my favorite!! I hope you continue making content. I always look forward to your videos. You do your own thing and that's so interesting to me. I think the speed is perfect. I much prefer a speed coloring with insightful voiceover than real time color along to music (i can never get through those for some reason). Again, what makes your channel unique is that you do your own thing, not more of the same. I wish more channels followed that trend. It would be so much more interesting. Love your process and results ❤

I also LOVE watching and listening to you explain the process, although it was a tiny bit too fast and I would really appreciate you going into a little more detail of how you layer the darker color markers on the light and then how you smooth everything out with the pencils....Seriously envy worthy! Such a gorgeous page! Thanks for sharing and teaching us 😊 It truly does inspire and really makes me want to sit down and just color and be creative with different mediums and colors. Just wow!!

I really loved watching this! At first I thought it was fast but as you went along I got used to it and it was very enjoyable to watch. Which acrylic pens do you use? I might need some 😊

That's very nice picture. Very colorful, but colors are not mixed in one colorful mess. Now I want to try to use my alcohol markers with pencils, I always used them separately. You think that the video speed is too fast, but it made me laugh as I was watching it at 1,5 speed already 😂 however, it is ok for me, I can always speed it up. I like your quick explanation videos, they are informative, I get an idea, but I dont think that I have to copy you and check which exact colors you used. I tried color along in past, but I feel overwhelmed.

A bit too fast plus wld u be so kind as to link/include markers numbers . Wld be most grateful as I am new 2 using markers.
