I love how Lakisha laughs at his humor, even when unintended. That's a sign of healthy relationship. Be well my friend & many thanks for all of your excellent camera work over the years. Jack will be missed.
I can't thank this guy enough. Been following him for 3 years and actually making his dishes while watching it on RU-vid. My entire family begs for this meal and made it tonight without any issues and it was a home run. Sorry you left us too soon big guys but thanks for the amazing memories and lessons for everyone to learn from to be great cooks!!
This looks incredible Jack. Thank you for making these videos and passing on your knowledge. I use your blackened seasoning weekly now. It's money. Once this pandemic is done I hope to come visit you from across the pond at your restaurant. Stay healthy. Tony from England.
I have made this 3 times now including tonight and it turns out soooo good. Thanks for the amazing videos and recipes Daddy Jack. You seemed like a all around wonderful human being. You are missed my friend
I watch a lot of high-end chefs cook on RU-vid. I honestly enjoy watch Jack cook just as much. And I’ve replicated his recipes just as I have the top chefs- his food is fucking delicious.

Love all your videos. I made your bacon wrapped shrimp last night. They were so bomb! Thank you for the ideas. Definitely making these pork chops next weekend! Good lord they look good! And i love watching you eat, you can tell you're enjoying it and that's what life is all about!
I can't hear you eating.....because l'm too busy wiping up the drool on my desk with a paper towel. Good Grief you can make a person go crazy just thinking of how DELICIOUS this is gonna be. Thank You for ALL your fantastic recipes. 🍃🌹🕊
I love that you are using your Mom’s Revere Ware . I’ve got my Mom’s and it still cooks things better than any of my newer, more modern pots and pans . Keep on keeping on you inspire us all !
Very Sad to learn of his passing. I’m a viewer fan from Toronto Canada and was hoping to one day make the trip but Covid got in the way .. Anyways God take good care of this fine Gentlemen 😞
@@chaplinsrestaurant Absolutely..the best. There is a (not so) friendly 'war' between New Mexico and colorado on who has the best chile. Well, colorado has chilis and New Mexico has CHILÉ. Hatch is the best. Thick meaty chile peppers. Thank you for using them in so many recipes. Please give the folks some knowledge on how and where the greatest chile is grown. Hatch New Mexico. 🌶️🌶️💙💙
A recipee for pork chops with bone. Mostly I bake my chops well seasoned in a pan on the stove and make a good gravey with it. Sometimes I fry them in the fryer. YES there we go. Chops with bone. Flatten them with what you have. Then season with BBQ herbs and some herbs de provence. Then in the whole flour, in the egg'white and in the bread crumbs. Bake them right of in the fryer until deep brown. Serve with raw vegetables lettuce mix, rasped carottes, Join with fried potatoes in the fryer or in the oven and sprinlke some salt over it. As a drink a larger beer (Stella, Heineken, or something local) Bon appetit !

Between Jack and Featureman, during a ton of Pandemic homebody time, I have been entertained by two very wise men cooking in two totally different styles. They are like a symbiotic palate cleanser.
I truly hope you and your family are doing well my friend I pray that your restaurant makes it threw this covid mess and you get back to doing what you are great at(cooking) God bless you and thank you for all the wonderful meals you’ve cooked for us over the years 👨🍳

I like this guy. He's not flashy, but this goes to show that it's not necessary. His passion for tasty food and cooking is easy to see and it goes a long way. I wish I were his neighbor. I'd probably be coming up with all sorts of excuses for "dropping by" when he's cookin'. Oh yeah, a suggestion. Some blues in the background would be cool too. Might give the vids a little extra flavor. If copyright and tech issues aren't a big problem.
Great video again. I love watching your presentations. It is true cooking, with simple ingredients and lots of love. Keep it going, and stay always in a good health.

This reminds me of the Chicken Fried Steak at Weck's (Santa Fe, NM) with green chile sauce instead of traditional gravy. Best breakfast of my lifetime.
They tasted great if I do say so Ronald! I love pork anyway, so flavorful. Jack. Become a Member of “Cooking With The Blues” www.patreon.com/cookingwiththeblues For Aprons, Blackening Seasoning, CD’s and other Memorabilia www.daddyjacksnewlondon.com
I just love your video's, you have a true kind soul. I would love to hear more about your history...where what cities and restaurants have you cooked in? I also love hearing about your family history!
Coming soon Nicoholas, working on my memoir now! I look at these videos as my cookbook. Glad you like the videos, Jack. I started watching you so I could cook my family better food..Sometimes when I watch you cook I think to myself he's not really in it for the cooking. He's in it for the people. I am reminded of this from the movie when I hear you talk about the people you wish you could be with. I know all the people you mentioned know that you miss them dearly. "Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more gray and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend."

You really do inspire me/us that it doesn't take a fancy kitchen and equipment to put together a delicious meal that doesn't take long and isn't out of of a box or the freezer section. And I'm going to keep bugging you and LaKisha to put her in front of the camera because it's like visiting you when I watch your videos. Even if it's just at the end to watch the two of you enjoying a meal and time together. Could you do that for us LaKiisha ?
They were Hatch, I said that when I opened the can. Jack. Become a Member of “Cooking With The Blues” www.patreon.com/cookingwiththeblues For Blackening Seasoning, CD’s and other Memorabilia www.daddyjacksnewlondon.com
Southern Colorado and New Mexico share a historical and regional cultural heritage that is reflected in this dish so don't worry about who's or what's better. It's the same and it's all delicious.
@@mack1979 sorry...nope😏. Hatch is the REAL green chile. colorado has chili. New Mexico has CHILÉ. So very proud you have used HATCH green chile in so many recipes.
I think they all need to keep up with you. You're the man my friend!!! Hope to make my way out there soon to try out your restaurant. It's to cold up there for this Texas boy right now.
Another great recipe I gotta try. Great camerawoman! Hey….did Axile ever get his drink of cream/coffee? Of course he did……he gets what he wants, when he wants it.
