@@MountainRat Appreciate it, we tried for antelope and elk also but just got the deer tags, which is fine, then we can focus on just one species. Leaving PA on the 12th and get there the 14th...can't wait. This gives me 2 weeks for archery before i go too, so i can't complain :)

I agree. We all talked about it and decided towards the end of this hunt that we would take a semi-mature deer over going empty handed this time around. Which is rare. We like to go after a mature deer that we desire over settling for a younger deer. I appreciate the compliment.

@@MountainRat Go ahead and look through our videos on @livefortheseason. Not gonna find anything close to the poor shooting you demonstrated. We haven't missed as many times in the past 6 seasons (with 70+ animals harvested in our group) as you missed in this 1 video so I wouldn't try that angle. As for the buck at 556y on my channel, it was solid liver and he piled up about 100 yards away.

@@blakegipson8136 and mind didn't go 1 yard. The other buck went about 100 as well. So whats the problem?? Buck fever is forbidden?? But you're better somehow? I am an archery main. I practice and dial in my rifle. I'm not a best and I don't need to be. I don't need to be shamed because "I'm not as good as you" like show a little respect. People like you come on channels to just put people down. Doesn't matter what they do right, guys like you will jump in to make sure they point out any flaws and mistakes they see. I'm human. I know I'm not flawless, I really don't need anyone pointing it out.

@@MountainRat my point was you owe it to the animal to be prepared to make a deadly shot. Neither of you was because you missed. I don't care if it's being ill-prepared or having buck fever, don't pull the trigger until you 100% know you're going to put the bullet exactly where you want it. You are an ambassador of the hunting world by having a public channel that people follow and your actions can have impacts on people who may be riding the fence with their position on hunting. It worked out this time and you connected on follow-up shots but I've seen too many videos (from other channels) of guys flinging lead and hoping for the best. All I'm saying is don't be those guys.
