Thank you for your enquiry. We OEM from OKI, we manufacturer in the same factory and our printers are based on 90% of the OKI engine, however the printers are built to our own specification to enable us to print on a wider range of media and heavier stocks.
Hi Chris, Unfortunately your machine is different. We use the same chassis, but there are quite a lot of differences. 1) The Tool Assembly bar at the rear is different on the Intec ColorFlare, as this is manufactured to enable Both the Flaring (Sleeking) Bar, AND the Perforating and Skewing tools to remain resident in the machine without having to remove them when Flaring (Sleeking) 2) There are 2 Input Roll holders so that Laminate can remain loaded on the machine and Foils can be loaded on the front Input Spool. 3) The Input Spool system used on the front enables Multiple rolls of foil to be loaded simultaneously for dual color foiling 4) There is a different Roller assembly (The Premium Flaring Roller Assembly) which can be added for a better Foil finish. i. (Essentially, Laminate is plastic and as you heat it, you can stretch out the wrinkles, FOIL is based on a metal, with a heat expansion coefficient, which means every 10C increase there is approx. 1mm of expansion every 1m of material. As you foil at approx. 110C, this is almost a 6 - 7mm expansion you have to cope with. On the original machine, you have to handle this by increasing pressure to try to remove wrinkles, but this increases wear, and is not always effective. The premium Flaring Roller assembly system is a dual roller system, that elevates the foil away from the Heated Mirror laminating Roller, and provides silicon smoothing baffles. The purpose is, that by elevating the foil over the heated roller, is does not suffer from the same levels of heat expansion enabling you to run a wider range of foils on a wider range of media with virtually no tension, thus creating better reliability and higher quality foiling.) 5) We use our own operating system/ firmware to enable easier Ramp up of speed and foiling especially after stops. 6) We have different safety covers enabling the additional Roller assemblies to fit and be removed more easily. With regret, neither the additional flaring (Sleeking) arm assembly nor the Premium Flaring Roller assembly are available as an add on option for the original machine, as despite the fact we start with the same chassis, the changes we make in manufacturing are significant enough that you can not retrofit that as an individual to the original machine. In addition different safety covers would be required and different mounting brackets. Best wishes, Mark Baker-Homes.
Thank you for your enquiry - we do not post prices because we sell in many countries all over the world and would need to know what currency to quote you in. If you can provide your country and an email we will send you the relevant information.
Hello Puhazhendhi, The reason laminating film may peel is that you may have a poor quality laminating film or not the correct film for the application - digital toner (possibly has waxes in so requires a stronger 'digital film' or stronger glue than some standard laminates have) or lithographic inks or low pressure coming from the lamination machine. Many thanks Intec
Hello Puhazhendi, Thank you for your question. Lamination work is typically done between 105 and 120 degrees C using a mirror roller for smooth finish. It is between these temperatures because it depends on the thickness of lamination and the speed of throughput of the sheets. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us at sales@intecprinters.com and we can advise you of the details of your local sales representative. Thank you Intec

Hello Ahmed, thank you for enquiry. Typically 105° - 110° C for foiling. And we recommend the 'Premium Finish Roller Assembly' to obtain that ultra-flat mirror finish. See our product page here, www.intecprinters.com/systems/colorflare or one of our sales team will happily discuss the details with you if you would like them to call you?
Thanks for your comment. If you would like further information on our foiling and laminating range please contact sales@intecprinters.com. We would be happy to assist
