@@therealshanelee fair enough. Thanks, I love your reviews. Not enough reviewers focus on audio, although that is starting to change. Every movie looks excellent lately so audio is the big factor for me now.

I'll throw my hat into the ring & say that even as a theoretically cynical 'elder' gen Z, it really won me over. It's deeply sweet without getting saccharin, got a tear out of me, & only really suffers from a really slow 2nd act, where all of the bad jokes are contained. Once you've escaped that 20-minute portion, it goes back to being really good.

I saw this in the theater still amazes me how fast movies are coming to the home. It was announced that the disc will be out in August your review sounds on par with what i heard at the theater .

If the content needs to be played right above the listener (aka the center height channels), you need to have those, if you don't, the processor will use your back and forward height channels to make a phantom center height. Using 4 instead of 6 heights for better immersion (for this specific movie)? - No. This is the magic of object based audio right ? The processor will map these objects to the speakers you have. If you don't have a speaker where the object needs to be, it will use everything you have to phantom(ly)_ place the object where it needs to be.

No. I can tell you don’t have 6 heights. Everything people need to know about how to get the best immersion for this specific movie is explained in the video and why.

@@therealshanelee Yeah i don't. But i do hear when things are right above me, like i have center heights. How do you get your singers voice in the middle when you listen to 2 channel stereo ? Phantom image. If you don't have center height, but have only forward and back heights, the processor will create a phantom image above you. .... cmon man, you know this. This is why with 6 height channels, the forward and back heights don't need to "light up" when your center height is doing the work, because the object is exactly above you, not forward from you, and not back from you.

@@Quetzalcoatl0 did you even pay attention to the object viewer on screen? It’s objective data of what is happening in the mix. Don’t try and confuse people of what is happening. If there is or isn’t data in those specific channels it would be represented in the object viewer. Plus you don’t have 6 height channels. You simply don’t know what is happening right here.

@@therealshanelee Yes, i did pay attention of where the objects are, When you switch from 6 to 4, you can clearly see that the 2 objects are right in between the 4 height channels. Look at 1:00 and at 1:05. In 6 channel configuration, you can see that the object is exactly in the center of the center height channels.This is why the other 4 are not use almost at all. I'm not confusing people. You are confusing your viewers. You didn't even question my statement, you immediately attack me with " Plus you don’t have 6 height channels. You simply don’t know what is happening right here. " I'm a subscriber from (i think) 4 years now if not more. I just wanted to correct/point out one small mistake. I've done so in the past, but the only thing i get from you is attack after attack. You never question what your commenters have to say. If its positive, its good but If its a correction of something that is not right, its a big problem for you. Why ? You are not alone, many audio video channels are the same. People who have the more expensive gear, think they know everything. They think that no one in the comments section might see a problem in their videos and correct them, your videos are NEVER wrong, they are 100% TRUE, why ? because you have the 50 000 USD processor, you have 25 000 usd 25 speakers, you have 8 subwoofers, you have this gear, and that gear. Clearly NONE of your commenters have, and this is why you are ALWAYS TRUE. (again you are not alone, 95% of RU-vid are like this.) RU-vidrs think this is a law or something.

@@Quetzalcoatl0 because you don’t know what’s happening. I stated there are a handful of times where all six get used. If you stay in a 6 height channel config only the middle will get used for 99 percent of the time leaving the front and rear heights silent. It’s not hard to follow and is explained in the video. Hence if you stay in a four height config you’ll get more height coverage. Also explained in the video. You always leave comments pretending you know all. I normally stay out of it. In this case you have no idea what you’re talking about.
