I completely agree with you about Korean coloring books. I love them because the paper is usually wonderful and the pictures/compositions are beautiful, but the finished photos on the left pages intimidate me. I think many colorist use them as tutorials/inspiration to increase their skills. However I don't want my coloring to mimic the artist's painting or look similar. It's a dilemma that I'm certain you"ll resolve. In any case, your artwork is consistently impressive and amazing. Should you decide to color a page or the entirety of either of these books, I'm sure the end result would be stunning.💙💛💙💛💙💛💙

Hi Alena ! I agree with you i don’t like books that have the colored image on the other side that’s why i don’t buy those books ! I wish they would put them at the end of the book in a smaller form ❤❤❤

Thank you, Alena! I’m also in the process of creating my 2024 coloring plan, and Serene is first on my list. It’s so beautiful but so intimidating! For 2023 I wanted to color at least one Leila Duly page and I did, so I hope we can color Serene. I look forward to your color alongs 🥰

Hi Alena, I have the same problem with my 2 Aeppol, forest girls books, I don't want to copy her art and some pages are difficult to interpret, for me. I enjoy coloring portraits but I still haven't finished the one page I started in Queens of Polands. Thank you for sharing your 2024 lineup.🥰

I hope that I will finally start Queens of Poland next year, at least there are couple of pages where portraits don't look very intimidating..

@@ColoringwithAlena Alena, that would be amazing to watch. I just realized you don't work on life size portraits but your smaller faces are so beautiful! Because you're so talented, I think if you practiced on life size portraits, you would learn how to very quickly! I am looking forward to seeing you color in Queens of Poland.🥰
