Well, but 4) Синяя рубашка if the adjective ends in -ний replace any а, у or о with я ю е.

На 4 пишется синяя рубашка.

@@Triadii Yea, it's been 4 years since I wrote this comment. My vocabulary is way bigger now and I don't have same issue now. But for beginners it is confusing.

защищающийся zashchishchayushchijsya this is a simple example of one word in different alphabets a simple example of why it would be a dumb step to throw the alphabet almost completely covering all sounds in Russian in short form therefore no one thinks about it, it is easier to learn the second alphabet than to write the sounds of the Russian language in an alphabet that does not give a short record of words

Some sounds like ы х ц щ ш cannot be represented accurately when transcribed to Latin. Cyrillic may seem complicated but is highly adapted to the language and makes it simpler like above commentor has demonstrated. Also Many people like me love the look of Cyrillic more than Latin, isn’t it one of the many beauties of the Russian language??

Должно быть "белАЯ" потому что лампа это женский род 4. должно быть "жёлтыЙ" потому что портрет в единственном числе 5. должно быть "красные" потому что "часы" во множественном числе даже если речь идёт об одной штуке, если говорить о физическом объекте "часы" (так же как и "штаны" или "джинсы" или "брюки") ((и скорее всего это слова исключения или типа того))
