Well I can see how it would get annoying being bothered constantly. In a Las Vegas poker room he really is like Paul McCartney. It just shows the variance in poker that you could win a tournament for over a million dollars and then run bad on high roller events and be up 31K for the whole WSOP. I know you accept this but it still is crazy.

@@maartenn2217 he plays differently outside of WSOP because WSOP is pure volume for him for 95% of the tournaments. Its a freeroll because he gets 4 million plus a year as a GG sponsored ambassador who pays for his hotel, food, and buy-ins per year. He doesn't have to take it serious - just like jumping online trying to get a big stack by pushing all in every hand.

We see & learn how important mentally it is playing, bc of the dopamine rush of winning & then times of losing. It’s a rush you want to keep going, but then your done. Can someone get that rush fr normal things in life? The ones that last like Daniel, are better at it than most.

yes.... you can get that rush and dopamine injection in real life from finding something you love and dominating everyone. It may be gaming or a hobby like in golf or pool or being at the top tier in academics or being recognized as the best in whatever endeavor you are pursuing.

I know my advice comes too late, but the vet can give you a prescription for the pups to keep them mellow during fireworks. Some people use CBD. My vet actually told me to give my dog a couple of beers (60lbs) around sundown because it was too late to do bloodwork for the meds. Kept her calm every 4th, but she'd drink a ton of water the next day. 🙂

I feel like he overrated himself in PLO. In the dealer’s choice tournament, he says he picked PLO and he never seemed to do great. But in the PPC, he played elite poker in the stud hands. I’d like to see him play that type more.

YES !! I tried to tell him in the first few days of his vlogs that his Stud games and his HORSE mixed game events should be his total focus and look what happened. He won and even went pretty far and cashed in a few of them. His PLO game is probably Tier 3 and could be even lower. I watched him explain his reasoning on several hands and I like bruh ? @@gdknght9581 Yeppp. Same can be said about his NLH game. The guy justifies everything in his HH's and seems incapable of being objective. And whenever he does admit to an oopsie, he minimizes it soo much. This guy doesn't make a living from poker and hasn't since he was young and during the boom. Ppl fail to realize this. If he didn't have the name he did and sponsorship $, he would be a mid stakes MTT grinder imho. He literally is the luckiest man in poker. He was a top player, had a marketable personality at the right time and basically hit the lottery ever since. He has kept his game just relevant enough to continue to be marketable. The guy just does not have the discipline to fold enough on rivers, and I believe that is his main leak that will never allow him to break through and become a top player amongst the high rollers. I feel his contemporaries see him as a fish. I even see him as a fish and I'm just a 10/20 grinder who doesn't use solvers unless its part of study material

The irony of that pot with AJJ where you would not actually pot with JT meaning its a snap call - it displays really the beautiful part of plo levelling, and this socially constructed meta of potting there with JT and JJ/TT. Smaller raises look stronger inversely to me but not others perhaps. who knows
