But now we can calm down again, right? It's quite simple ... when a problem arises in the game, WG will surely sell us the solution soon. The same procedure as every time.🤮
@@acemay3 LoL I got banned January 2022 for a year , and in March I got banned for 6 months ... I am recivist on WG forum and I have no intention to change ... oh tho they threat me that one more thing from me and I get perma ban ... I have two other accounts that i have created , played to point i can post ...
WG has a great history of listening to player feedback. The silent majority that demanded submarines does not lie. The only winning move is not to play.
I wanted to return after years. I found that someone stole my account, but it was still linked to my email. So I changed the password and asked WG for changing my nickname back to original. It was the biggest mistake, they blocked my account because of suspicious activity and asked me for info from 12 years ago, that I do not have, to unlock it...
@@Michal_Peterka There was a guy on youtube who discovered that old WoT accounts are used for boting. One can buy matches where one is the only player and everyone else is afk. They think that wargaming is aware of it and probably even benefits from this and even delivers the access to the old accounts. I am pretty sure this also happens in WoWs
Well, I have never been particularly good at this game, but I stopped playing many moons ago. Who knew that I have been winning at WoWS for years now!?
I am pretty sure, that the silent majority kinda wanted submarines; because you know submarines = cool boats... What they did not wanted is what they got: another WG-Shitshow.
Same, but kinda getting tired. Got a Trenlass vid recommended earlier where he says you should be proud of losing a game in which you play really really well, Lmao!
Yeah, same. Every time I've "rage quite", it was because of a CV focusing me and DESTROYING me and I couldn't do anything about it... I've been playing this game since Beta, it's the worst it's ever been...
How the fuck did it take you this long? And THIS is the breaking point? Not CV rework. Not subs. Not the puerto rico fiasco. Not the rewards slashing. Not the littlemouse crap. Not the lootbox controversy. But this. You deserve every lost dollar. Good lord.
It's funny because in real life plane would avoid light cruisers because they usually had dual purpose main guns. So every gun on the ship was aimed at incoming planes.
@@dodgedaytona7435 every NC class Battleship would disagree with that, please at least bother to looking up actual aa effectiveness reports before lying in the internet
@@dodgedaytona7435 6 inch dual purpose guns were too slow to reload and aim until 1950x to be effective. Battleships had quite a few 5 inch dual purpose guns.
Being a 54% WR player with thousands of games played, I haven’t played the game for the last 3 weeks. Really had terrible experiences last time. And after seeing some very nice additions and very needed sub buffs , I’m considering leaving the game for good.
that hipper is the prime example of why the game is increasingly getting more and more passive, if there's a sub or cv on 9 out of 10 games people start to be more afraid of pushing cuz being aggresive in this game and trying to create a crossfire for example = getting spotted/tortured by the carrier or/and tortured by the sub, great game design in my opinion
I admire the players of WG games that they haven't yet done what the War Thunder players have done. War thunder players practically forced the company to change its policy. Do review bombing them, start boycotting the game and that's it. Either they give in or destroy their game
And that game still didn't change and became worse the only thing we have to do is stop playing these games and find our peace all these Russian companies wants is just money
you are so hopelessly naive if you think gaijin is going to change jack shit, WG is better than them for that, and thats not saying much. they released a PR statement to buy themselves time and to try and calm people down. The most I can see Gaijin doing is minor repair cost tweaks and if theyre feeling exceptionally generous they might reduce diminishing returns. you know, so the economy is only as bad as it was a year ago when everyone was still complaining. even back in 2018 the economy was terrible enough i had to drop out of the squadron i helped get to the number 2 spot on the server because i couldnt afford to keep practicing in all my SRE vehicles (and at the time especially, I was getting well above the average players results)
I remember coming back to the game when AP rocket planes were first introduced and the very first game I played I signed up in my Des Moines (strong AA cruiser btw haHAA) and immediately met a CV. I saw his planes come in and angled my nose inwards towards the attack to not give him my flat broadside which of course resulted in me showing broadside to a BB instead who then clapped me for over half of my hp before I got behind an island. The planes then came around for a 2nd swing because why would my AA shoot any of them down and I was too low on speed to angle in again and so he then clapped me down to having like 2k hp left at which point I decided to actually not come back to playing WoWs 👍
"There is no player loss in WoWS, see these unmarked graphs we have. You clearly see that in the multiple years since the start of this graph to present, population is either stable or growing" -WG
There is no "wondering" about why people are leaving the game. WG thinks this game has a finite lifespan, like other games do. They see declining player numbers and assume the end of the game is approaching, so they rush to monetize while they still can. From that standpoint their balancing decisions make good rational sense, it just means they don't give a fuck as long as the premium shop is open for business.
Look at the CEO of WG, does he look like he ever turned on a monitor ? Straight from a russian prison to the mafia. All he cares is money, probably for laundering.
The playerbase fluctuates enough to still have somewhat reasonable numbers. People who leave, just get replaced by the next newcomers. It's more accurate to say they hate their longterm players, because those guys did the grind and don't buy the new gimmick premium as much as new players do. Money is king, they don't care if the quality of gameplay suffers and new players don't know the difference from nowadays to a few years back in the era of RTS CVs.
I feel as though a Wee Gee employee is gonna see this comment and doom us all to frozen carriers and non existent planes that can dev strike you without even taking off, probably gonna give us bouncing bombs that do 10.2k per citadel hit and every plane has 4, with the size of the attacking flight being 20
As soon as I see a colossus in the match whether my team or the other I basically give up because I know it'll just be a blow out or I'll just have a terrible time
That's a braindead attitude. Angle against the rockets and there crap. You only have to worry if your in a paper cruiser with literally no armour. It's definitely no worse than any other carrier, all it does is punish potatoes. Better than the yeeting cvs looking for perm floods or fires for damage which requires no braincells
I remember the days where AA actually could kill planes. The DM and Mino were no fly zone for CVs if they went close to them. It was great because when that happen because only experience CV player would know what to do it fight against it. Now, Everyone can kill any CA, CL, DD, BB. But Sub and CV are still difficult to destroy everytime. Even myself who has been playing the game since it came out. I have stopped playing anything mode except Operation if I do play.
6:48 flamu, you’re wrong. To adapt, you don’t run away to spawn, you quit the game, click on the uninstall button and got to bed to forget about the game
nothing can stop a cv, but if you can take out enough of the Colossus's AP rocket planes the carrier is much less of a problem, however frankly I think CV like Colossus and Kaga should always be sniped as close to the start of games as possible.
For example it is me. But I don't use AA module, I take AA skill which costs 4 points and a flag. On some ships I have this skill and AA skill which costs 2 points as well. Of course I can't 100 % defend myself against super CVs but against other CVs I feel perfectly fine. But my experience as a CV player helps me to protect myself against other CVs as well.
really depends on the ship, but you really kinda can (wont help for mountain climbing rockets tho). a gouden for example can get over 2.5k continuous damage with 12 flak bursts of 10k damage every 2 seconds, and since you're over the 10 flak burst threshold (the reason the worcester isnt amazing AA) they become effectively impossible to avoid, allowing you to eat even supercarrier squads pretty nicely (granted you need the seasoned commander). dalarna is even better due to the 100% flak accuracy, though of course a supership (halland is also good, but lacks enough flak bursts to be truly scary imo)
Remember, those are subs that can go 4x the speed that actually when irl on top of the fact they can eat 3 depth charges and not die yet one irl would die to 1 just in the próx
Today I dropped 9/12 203mm HE shells onto a sub and did 3300 damage. I was able to dodge his first torp salvo. But not his 2nd. Much fun was being had.
Nah, it now needs open boarders so ships can run farther. With this you can run away from the enemy for 20 minutes with you maybe seeing carrier air craft only. Yes, I know they will balance it by making subs move at 120 knots under water. They will also make a you have to buy it ship that shoots 200 km 30 inch guns.
If WG released WOWS Classic - going back to a version where USS Cleveland was an OP tier 6 cruiser that CVs avoided like the plague. I wonder how many folks would play it.
It was my favorite game!! I was a cv main there... you will have cvs play themselves for 5 or 7 min to kill ourself or don t let enemy cv kill allies!!! It was a fun game i can controll fighters i can manual drop and yeah deff AA was hell with the fear skill that don t let aim well!! Many games ruined by that skill... it was balanced and cv players were elite players of the game!! Not this actual shit were everyone plays cv
Are we having fun yet? This is why I quit the game right before submarines became active in the game. I saw were this game was headed. And yes I spent a fair amount of coin playing the game. I love watching Flamu, he is one of my favorite personalities to watch. Sir, I feel your pain!
Very balanced CV I was yesterday in a Yamato and the CV(Colossus) started focusing me in less then 3 min I went from full HP to 0. Damaged done only by the CV. And with me was a DeMoins.
Hot take on planes in WOWS: they are missiles. Missiles go fast and can be guided, planes go fast and can be guided, check Missiles can sometimes be intercepted by AA fire, planes can sometimes be intercepted by AA fire, check Missiles are usually used beyond visual range, planes are usually used beyond visual range, check Angling against missiles is useless, angling against planes is useless, check
I took the Hornet out for a sail last night (spotting damage for Dockyard mission, I hate CVs) and the enemy CV was a Colossus. He didn't bother me much because I non-stop spotted him for the first few minutes while waiting for my teammates to kill it, which took them longer than I expected being that we had some t9 and 10 BB's. Anyways, Colossus out of the match early but we still lost of course. Now I see that if I had just been a Colossus I could have dealt with him myself in a fraction of the time and done a lot more to the enemy team.
1. If a cruiser is pushing alone the friendly carrier is supposed to protect it or 2. if the CV is clearly on an other flank you're not supposed to solo push The problem with these rockets seems to be that ricochets are extremely rare. They look like OP Aquilla rockets or something instead of Richthofen ones.
Well... the only thing working effectively against everything else at the moment counters themselves. CVs and subs - You can take your sub across the map unspotted and go to shotgun the CV who annoys the rest of your team. The moment you ping the CV or get spotted by him (accidentally) you're basically dead, but so is the CV.
7:20 right on point! On SEA Server 90% of the BB players now in the CV line (which is the reason why even more players want hyrbids so they don't have to use the guns) and then they just sit there together with the other BBs already running from the beginning of the match. No matter if it's a Yamato or an Ohio, they straigt run in the first minute with the highest HP class. I've seen a single T8 SS pushing one T10 BB flank and one colussuss pushing the other flank. And the disgusting thing about it is that SEA players don't just adapt by running, no they just keep buying the broken thing right of the shelf and that is how WG makes so much money. When do you ever see average players in a stock ship "having fun"? Same thing happened with Malta. If you go to the SEA server today you will see 90% Malta in T10 MM. I won the collussus I played 4 battles and never thouched it again. I still play the game but I'm boycotting that "I must have the newest broken crap" attitude.
I remember joining the NA-WOWS stream a couple of moths ago, and mentioned the focus on making the low-skill level ships strong and impactful, and the most skill based ships less rewarding. Like light cruisers. I saw a light burn up in Boggzys face, and I saw he agreed a lot. I'm sure he wanted to say much more, but i guess he is limited by his position. Soon after they release a CV that can dev-strike CLs. Seems quite counter productive for a game who already struggles.
I have an idea: you know how fighters strafed back in RTS? You sent them in a straight line and they'd absolutely destroy all the squads in their path? How about a patrol fighter consumable that does that. You know a carrier is going to strike you from a certain direction so you direct your patrol fighters to strafe, and now he either has to avoid the line of strafing or his planes get wiped. That might mitigate the issue with crossfires a little bit.
WG clearly does not want anything that actually counters cv strikes. They changed the patrol fighter coding to not stop strikes before they happen. That wasn't an accident.
At the Hipper part. It's not even "Did the Hipper have a fun time?" it's "Did the Hipper even have a fucking chance?" He wasn't out of position. He wasn't technically doing anything wrong and he still lost his ship.
I've been looking forward to this one. Initial pressions, she was meh. But, i just did a 24k hit on a Balti broadside...., though it doesn't happen a lot. The HE bombs are okay, not as good as Indomitable imo, but they have the same weird landing pattern. I think Kaga is still a better premium T8 CV.
I'm so glad I stopped playing this train wreck 2 years ago. I come back now and again to see what state of meltdown Flamu is in but have no desire to actually play the thing again. Which is a shame, I used to love that game!
2 years away, despite having paid WGreed handsomely for 5 years through premium ships, containers and premium time, wondering WHY on earth should I come back...
