The colourpop promo photos of the palette made the duochromes in the palette look really shifty, but they didn’t seem to show the shift in your swatches. Do you notice the shifts?

I feel like every time colourpop does a duochrome we always get that same purple brown shifty color, it's had about 800 different names at this point LOL but it's basically still the same shade over and over. But I've also heard when it comes to trying to catch the duochrome effect on camera, it never translates properly and I can't remember the name of the RU-vidr but there's this one RU-vidr that figured out if you use a mirror against the shimmers when they're swatched you're able to catch the duo Chrome effect almost perfectly but definitely way better than by just moving your arm back and forth. Hope this helps 💜

@@melissa.loves.makeup hahaha! Yes 😂 With any mainstream brand I feel their duochromes are always purple brown shifts or brown green shifts 😂 Yes, I know they’re really hard to translate on camera. It’s not easy for sure! I was just wondering if you noticed the shifts in person well or you felt they didn’t show much shift in person?

Love your tip on another way to use the Jelly Much shadows! Just tapping it on. That sparkle is so pretty.I will try that out soon, thanks! I like the palette but can dupe it easily. May still pick it.

This was a palette I bought right when it launched, which I never do! I feel like the initial promo pix made it look like there were duochrome-ish shades, but it doesn't seem like they are, as much. I still like it a lot, though.

It's a lot more warm-toned than it looked in the photos and I can see they just can't get rid of that vomit brown for the base of their shifty shades... thanks for the review though! 💜 The JM shades are so beautiful, these were the three I was interested in 😊

I did immediately want this palette and I'm still going to pick this up along with probably three of the jelly much shadows, only because unless it's a shade that I will wear more frequently, I know you can fix them but they just dry out far too quickly for me to buy colors that I won't wear often. But I must say that the pallet does look so much different in your video then from what color pop posted, and you're absolutely right that a lot of the times if not all the time the color stories that they post look very washed out and then you get the pallet in person and I always end up opening my palate and thinking to myself wow that looks completely different and this is actually super pretty. So after seeing this in your video I will definitely be picking it up! 💕🖤💕🖤💕
