When I was a kid at Disneyland (1960’s) I was convinced that I knew how to get on and off the rides super “professionally” and that all the Disney ride workers saw how superior I was. And even though they never said “excellent exit kid” I knew they knew. I remember sliding out of the clamshell on The Haunted Mansion ride and knowing I aced it. Always did the side eye to the workers on the way out. Our unspoken understanding. Oh brother what kinda dorky weird kid was I????? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
One of my favorite Haunted Mansion memories was getting stuck on the ride with my sister as a kid. We were actually riding alone because we told our dad we weren’t scared (I was probably just old enough to finally get all the humor built in). We were tilted back on a ramp with the music playing over and over with the occasional message to “please stay seated in our doom buggy” as passing spirits had momentarily interrupted the ride. It became an in-joke afterwards whenever we had to wait for something to stay seated in our doom buggy. Also remember my brother (6 years younger) going on the ride with us when he was about 5 or 6 (which is probably too young- 70s parenting!) and spinning in circles at the restaurant we ate in immediately after because he was trying to catch site of the hitchhiking ghosts following him! Hi Allie, I really like the haunted mansion too. I love it when they say don’t pick up a hitchhiker. I work at my sister’s florist and we use a lot of glitter things for Christmas so I have glitter all over the whole year lol. Your make up look came out beautiful. Great look, love the combination. I have a small criticism about the palette, the rest is really great. The design is a dream, but I would have liked the palette to have a bit more spooky colours. It looks great but less nude would have been nice.

Sometimes I’ll play “welcome foolish mortals” audio just to get the chills! 😭😅 we love haunted mansion. We always go to DL & WDW November & December and I so prefer DLs decked out in Nightmare Before Christmas. And that’s just called Disneyland, no other name. 😝 and then there’s California Adventures. Will be recreating this look!

I normally don’t buy things when they launched except this one .. I got the pallet , the purple shock shadow and the purple lipstick ❤. I really like all of it … I’m really looking forward to getting it in the mail
