Columbia University in New York City says pro-Palestinian protesters that are occupying a building on campus could be expelled and some seniors won't be allowed to graduate. Students took over Hamilton Hall just after midnight on Tuesday. Fueled by the viral power of social media, the ongoing demonstrations at US colleges are sparking recriminations and drawing in everyone from students to faculty and billionaire donors to politicians. Bloomberg's Scarlet Fu has more from the Columbia campus.

@@Marcel_Audubon You can also get a great nursing education at a community college. Community college is not only for liberal arts or science majors for transfer to a university ;))) Do something practical instead of studying stuff like psychology or sociology or worse, Gender studies. And you can teach yourself business much quicker by opening up your own company.

During his early years and time in prison, Nelson Mandela was considered a terrorist. Young people on college campuses pushed the issue of divestment of U.S. companies and organizations in South Africa to end apartheid. If Columbia does this, it will be a sad day for this country and the university. Are these colleges just businesses, or are they academic institutions?? We need to get this really straight right now.

Why? Cause the school blocked all access to the building. They deprive students of their basic needs to force them leave. Let the students use the buildings to get water and use the restrooms!
