Columbia Men's Watertight Ii Jacket Review, RAIN TEST Columbia Watertight Li Jacket ✅ Amazon Shop Link: www.amazon.com... ✅ International Shop Link: s.click.aliexp...
Fun fact: Columbia bought Mountain Hardware a few years back. They keep them separate and MH is the higher end, but Columbias rain gear has gotten noticeably better since. These will keep you dry, what they lack is style really, no gussets or articulation here like you’ll find on $200+ jackets, but that’s fine. If you are casual and just need a good rain jacket that’s gonna last you five to ten years.. the Watertight II is a solid choice.
It's terrible guys it wets out a lot after a few rainstorms. Their waterproofing treatment is terrible. But fortunately, you can probably hit them with tec wax. I've owned mine for 1.5 years or so and I walk often in heavy downpours.
If you want a lifetime rain jacket that works in heavy rain the Patagonia Torrentshell is the best bet, no casual folks wanna spend $180 but I have yet to find one person who's bought one and regretted it. Patagonia has a lifetime no receipt needed warranty also, I've used it on a five year old jacket.. they paid for all the shipping and sent a brand new jacket.
@@ErrcycoUnfortunately, I need a 4XL sized jacket; Fjall, REI and Patagonia don't offer that size. North Face has the "Big Antora Jacket," but it's getting into winter jacket territory of expensive.
