Elimination Feat 1: Semaphores on a Double-Rolled Mat - 00:05
The competitors will be required to successfully complete as many cuts as safely possible as directed via semaphores. The cuts will be all true-edge either descending or ascending from the right or left as directed. The semaphore will indicate the direction from which the cut is to originate. The cut must be completed before the next cut is signaled via semaphore. If a mat comes off of the spike there will NOT be any re-spiking of mats during this round.

Elimination Feat 2: Thrust to Cut - 04:43

The competitor should not stop between the last two actions, but rather flow continuously from extraction to cut. The competitor will perform up to 6 of these thrust/extraction/cut combinations, assuming they can safely be performed on the mat without hitting the spike or stand.
