Combat Sambo at the 2024 Arnolds 

Here is a HL reel of some moments from Genki Ono's 2 fights this weekend. It was not his day on the scoreboard in fight 1 and he lost a leg lock battle in fight 2, but I am super proud of him. Last year he looked like a killer Karateka in a Sambo jacket (and too home the W doing it).
This year he started looking like a Combat Sambo athlete with some great takedown defense, takedown attempts, grappling and submission attempts. This weekend really shows all the work Genki has put in this year! Perfect example of how a loss can be a win.
