Combat Strategy: Defending A Region (Manor Lords) 

In this video, I share some combat strategies that you can use when battling the Baron to defend a region (note: these same strategies can be applied for taking a region as well). Positioning is important, and you have to micro-manage your units accordingly. Don't forget that each company's stance & cohesion also has a significant impact on the combat.
The main strategy in play here is layering Archers around the field of combat, and utilizing Melee Infantry to protect them. Archers are very strong, but the enemy units will seek them out if they do not have protection. This gives a look at a way that you can setup your units to have your Archers protected and doing max damage to enemies.
