Combine looks amazing old girl started right up I got to the point that I put battery tenders on everything that sits all winter once a battery gets low on charge in cold they are pretty much junk the girls look great too thanks Mike love your Videos buddy 👍🚜
Ya moth ball work quite well, we use them around the camp and in my sheds ya its quite cold here today January 29 wind chill is supposed to be in the 20 below wind chill tonight it is surprising the combine started in this cold weather, being in side makes a big difference keep the videos coming different cow ones ate great thanks mike.
Another fine video Mike. Everytime I get homesick for the Hudson Valley I just tune in and remember 55 years of cold farming. Then I'm ok. God Bless Prayers from Biloxi Mississippi.
Our Dairy barn is really old. I gotta do some research for the actual age. My parents moved up here in 1976 and the farm had been there for quite a while before them
@@mennoreuten1563 should have enough to get by. We aren't selling any this year. Get through a couple more cold months then we can get them put on spring pasture
I like the cows too. My brothers are a little better mechanics then me but everyone in my family agrees that I have "infinite patience" with the cows. I especially liked that your cows have names. Kinda makes them part of the family I think.
How did you get Ken Shamrock to do your intro. There’s got to be a story there. Lol The 9500 kicked right off. She’s ready for harvest!!! So sweet seeing your daughter’s love of animals. It definitely shows. I’m sure you’re a proud dad. And rightfully so. Stay warm Mike
Thanks Pete, I'm extremely proud thats for sure. My daughter had a period of time where she pulled away from the cows and didn't want too much to do with them. Now she is always asking me if she can go over and see them. Makes me happy
Thats our neighbor's shed. They are letting us store the combine up there because it didn't fit in ours. The only thing in there that is ours is the combine
Thats a good question. I'm going to have to look at the engine and see if it does have the heater. I'll check out the headliners but we aren't going to put extensions on the bin
I never have had trouble getting my 9500 to start when it’s cold. I do plug it in but not unless it’s really, really cold. The engine in those is a good starter. They don’t seem to have any parasitic draws for as much electronic junk as they have.
It was bitter cold and we weren't sure if the batteries needed a jump or not. They were dead this summer after oats when it sat for a few months so we thought for sure it would be dead now.
Hey mike how are you and your family are doing it look like mother nature still not good to you how much snow do you have take care and have a good day.
Thanks James. Yeah mother nature is getting us with cold weather and making snow drifts now. I'm counting down the days till I can get back out into the field.
with knowing the owners from the side of the combine im not surprized it started due to they had a very good matinance program for there equipment bad that they sold out thou
Thats cool you know the previous owners. I enjoyed meeting Paul and glad I came across the listing when he had it for sale. If you ever get a chance and see the previous owners let them know I said hello and they'll have to check out RU-vid and see the combine going strong
