For me theres so many moves and characters that I get kinda lost lol. I mean i play sophitia and siegfried so I def understand them. In mk you see the same strings a lot so eventually you learn why theyre doing what they are doing.
Never got into fighting games but in a noobs eye, SC looks like it has more fluid animation and overall gameplay than Tekken. It just looks so fuckn smooth.
The whole SCVI tourney was decent but the grand finals battle was fantastic! Both players gave us a brilliant show. There's only one NO - this amazing game needs much more players and popularity
I lost interest after SC 4. Same happened with Tekken after Tekken 5. Not been into Toshinden since Toshinden 2. Only fighting game franchise that I am still to this day even more hyped for than ever is Mortal Kombat.
i mean they kinda ruined the game with the horrible online at start, i legit stopped playing cuz i was getting 90% laggy or low rank players... and then there is RE, still an amazing game tho
at @12:55 the shaking hand. My god the pressure of competing at this level in front of a crowd. Mad respect my hands would absolutely ignore my brain lol
I wanted Richsticks' Maxi to take the dub **cry** congrats to Linkorz though he looked so defeated at one point but he came back and did his thing like a true champion
It pisses me off how many people are saying Siegfried is op and whatnot, he is literally twice as weak and slow than when he was Nightmare in SC2, there his 4A- 33A- NBSR B does 133 damage in just 3 hits and his powerful single attacks do as much as Haohmaru, every time I go back to 2's Nightmare after playing Sieg in 6 I'm literally unstoppable. Seems to me with each game the faster characters are getting more OP and the slower ones are consistently butchered.
I get people always root for the underdog, but Linkorz looks like such a nice, sportsman like dude, I'm surprised the crowd hates him so much, unless there's drama offscreen I'm not aware of.
Linkorz have been winning majority of the major tournaments in SC6 and has been on a tear lately. The crowd doesnt hate him. In fact he has a lot of fans in the community. They just want to see a new champ or someone legit challenging his dominance.
Don't know this scene or people and could tell biased toward richstick's leave bias at home when commentating thanks.. takes away from the match when you secretly cheer for one guy..
Linkorz usually wins these high level tournaments so to see him on the brink of losing is refreshing, a high level maxi player, and the fact we saw a reset happen for grand finals
@@llama2022 he IS dlc, that's my point. Usually I hate seeing dlc over powered characters win anything, but in this case, I was ok with it, which I find strange
Can someone explain how he managed to do such a combo at 9:23? I know I'm late to the party but I just picked up this game on sale and haven't been into sc since sc4
When are they gonna come out with the next stage after this whenever everything dies is supposed to end stage or whatever theres room for another stage another circle that you can select on the screen where you select the stages to fight i think on the right side i think this one is on the left this is the 12th one when are they gonna come out with the 13th stage???
Only applies to break attacks and when soul charged ex: nightmares sword drill doesnt chip unless hes soul charged... And some moves drain soul meter which will chip
@@yvesgomes Sad. One of my favorite things with Seigfried is that attack. I mainly use Astaroth(Who is utter crap but what can I do?) but Seigfried is a close second
Love sc6 great to see it played properly shame online it's full of scrubs who learn 4 moves and reapeat 4 moves never even use combos or play the game to the full potential..... Too many scrubs spamming ruin sc6 when it's such a great game.
I am a tekken player on steam, and when I see these matches I truly want to learn this game, but damn is hard to learn as a tekken player. Anyone recommends a good maxi player to learn from?
Dracorex0 yes and no. You can play Akuma and Geese in Tekken. You can zone with your fireballs, but it’s not the bnb of your strategy. 3D fighters are more based in spacing. You can see in this match that Siegfried outrages Maxi, só preferably he would like to keep Maxi in range 2-3 rather than range 0.
They haven't really made a 3D character with amazing zoning because of the 3D aspect. You'd need projectiles that track or appear to catch side steps. Azwel has zoning toolsl and ivy can be played zoning heavy but it's far and few in between.
Hell no! Probably my least favourite part of 2d fighters - the idea of spamming certain moves from a distance and an opponent looking for a way to get in is not very entertaining to me. I've seen hints of this with Ivy in the early days of SC6, but those zoning type moves seem to have been nerfed. Even in T7, with Akuma & Geese, the game doesn't favour the idea of spamming projectiles. You will get punished quick and I prefer it that way.
@@nginroom8108 I play MK and I've always seen zoning as a necessary evil, but I hate it. I used to play DOA when I was a kid and now I remember why it was so fun :)
Wow. So even pro players resort to desperation edge? Lolz. And here I am complaining about B and C ranks online doing that shit. That feature is the worst part of this game.
