@new Leaf mercy is basically giving your opponent another chance after the Finnish him/her screen pops up It is preformed by being at mid range And hold switch stance down down down release switch stance If you did it correctly it will pop up in your screen But there are some videos online on RU-vid how to preform it. For some reason this one of my favorite competitive fighting matches. What Foxygrandpa displayed as Kung Lao was special to watch. This made me want to learn Kung Lao.
So many years ago Ed Boon pushed the envelope. He had the drive to put out a fighting game the was different,for its time. And today it’s still going strong. An amazing title.
The other thing about sonic fox that I like about him other than his just amazing skill is, his demeaner. He is always so happy, and how open he is about himself.

@@lisov4575 no because all you do is sit on your ass and press buttons makes gaming, not a sport. The two are not equal at all. Just like poker on tv isn't a sport. What's next, watching people play slot machines? You could gamble on wether or not they win. Are you starting to see a pattern here? Sports are physical.

@@chopaso2066 i used to think that but honesty hes fine. He has a couple unusable strings but he doesnt need them. If you play really lame and get his throw game going hes actually really annoying to deal with.
Forward 214 definitely needs to be safer like -5 or -6 so Lao can actually use it. Every character can poke into throw or poke into a string and that’s pretty much all Lao’s gameplay is right now. Teleport is so slow it’s completely useless so he definitely needs some strings cleaned up and made a little safer at the very least. Forward 12 the second hit of that string should be an overhead, and only the first hit of 21212 should be a high the rest should be mids.

Jesus these assholes defending that MK11 is a good fighting game. Listen, I LOVE Mortal Kombat, but the toxic fanbase like you guys ruin the game for me. It's not "Getting good" if all you do is spam the stupidest moves that are unblockable and you douchebags know it. MK11 had the WORST gameplay mechanics because there isn't much to do. To be honest I dont like sonic ether because I think he's just way to overrated and disrespectful. BUT on the other hand I give him respect for know as much as he dose about the character he is and is facing.
I think i finally understand what people that love football feel when they watch a football match, you know can't sit still, saying "yessss / noooouuuuuu" . I used to mock them but when i watch MK tournaments i do the same :P
Foxy is such an underrated player. The dude's fundamentals are impeccable. As an American player, I wish our players had half as much fundamental skill and knowledge as Foxy does/most overseas players.
Nice to see they are getting much better at the game with lot less spam and more tactics and using everything the character has hope to see more good stuff
I remember playing sonic fox in a tourney in MKX and playing against echo smoke in another. Dudes are super hard to fight because they change tactics consistently
