The Halcyon Gallery in London is displaying a range of works by Andy Warhol that include classics such as Campbell Soup cans or Marilyn/Mao silkscreens as well as some lesser known works. This is a really satisfying exhibition of Warhol's works and is of museum quality. Thank you the #halcyon gallery for giving me permission to upload this vlog.

Great curation Halcyon. Loved the show, but looking at the animal prints that are unfamiliar to me 'in the manner of' popped to mind. Thanks again Mr Vlog.

Thank you! They are from his 'endangered species' series - quite an interesting concept from late Warhol (1983) and a commission too. www.wildlifeart.org/exhibits/andy-warhol-endangered-species www.newscientist.com/gallery/warhol-endangered-species/ He often did signed series of prints. These has, like, runs of 150 I think.

He was - a bit over exposed today but still an interesting artist. I went to an interesting show on his textile designs in Edinburgh at Easter. A different side to his art.

Warhole? No-hole! Colorful ephemera that was fun for a while.

Yeah, not deep visual work that requires close looking but interesting conceptually and, as you say, fun. I am going to be putting out one more Warhol vlog - on his textiles patterns from Scotland and then give it a break for the rest of the year on him!!

Looks like a super fun show but are they really all by Andy ? or has someone opened another factory ?

He was canny and would produce signed editions of, say, 200 prints- so they are signed by him but produced, as you say, in the factory. He is deliberately playing with the commercial nature of art and making it like a mass production line. It is why there is so much Warhol work around on sale. I didn't ask for the prices but there were noticeably a few customers enquiring!
