The Hayward Gallery has bought together sculptures from 21 different artists and collectives that push the boundaries of the form. 'When Forms Come Alive' includes well known names such as Franz West and Phyllida Barlow as well as some up and coming talents.

Than was one of my favourites - it seemed truly alive, unlike some of the other works.

There were some really good works in this; the problem for me is the crossover from fantastic gargantuan pieces to a room full of small pieces on tables - more larger works would have done me!

I agree Matt. The room with the smaller pieces was neither restless or 'alive' in any way shape or form! A pity as it could have been a cracker.

I went yesterday and agree it's a mixed bag. There were some good sculptures, but many that didn't really do anything for me.

Definitely agree - it is worth a visit but won't be in my year end top 10.
