It's the 2nd song in "Best Night Ever Official Trailer #1" movie. We'll figure out who really sings this whenever they get around to releasing a soundtrack for the movie. Back to waiting ...
TheOneandOnlyAmateur "Selectracks" selectracks.com. These guys own the band "The Problem Child". The company's service is to provide music for the musically challenged for a price. Look at their home page and read their mission statement, basically they have beat masters and song writers engineer a promo or what have you. They have a sound bank of tracks that have a certain feel, and that's probably why "Come and Get It" was chosen becasue it's style resembles the feel of BNE, but it's not an official track from the movie. Whoever made the trailer needed LEGAL music talent, so they went through Selectracks.com.
Rin Rio-Oki When searching their sound bank for either "Come and Get it" or "the Problem Child", nothing comes up. Maybe the rights to the song/group might have been bought. I don't know why without asking them. Yet, looking at a list of past sound projects they're taking credit for, under the "Our Work" tab, shows that they used this song for Hemlock Grove and Best Night Ever. Under the "News" tab they promote the trailer for BNE and even call Problem Child "Our Artist". It's obvious these guys own the rights to the song and band, we just have to write these guys, but how to do it needs some... fineness...
Rin Rio-Oki Selectracks whole purpose for being is to provide music for a price. Would it be too hard to ask them to release this song through iTunes so that they get their money, and we get our steroid wolf murder music?
Rin Rio-Oki Thanks for the response! I would certainly hope that the music would be released. It does sound like Icona Pop, as the OP posted. Is it them for sure, though? Also, if it IS by Icona Pop, a group that is pretty well-known now, wouldn't they release it under their name? It would be a win-win for everyone involved as far as money goes.
