I stumbled upon your channel last week (i subscribed right away). I just wanted you to know that there are thousands of us here in the big cities ( i live in silicon valley, CA) that are now living vicariously through you!! I love your attitude, your smile and especially your down to earth personality. I know that we only get to see a small fraction of the work you put into your farm, but I just wanted you to know how grateful I am to get a peek into your world, on my lunch break every day. Who knew that the sheep-raising process could be so fascinating! Thank you for your videos.

I enjoyed this so much. I started watching 2 years ago after having major intestinal surgery. Your videos helped me get through it all. Now I anxiously await every new upload. You are a blessing to so many and your spirit lifts so many others. Thank you for sharing so many aspects of your life and family. Even though you think sharing chores will be boring, some of us live for the views and knowledge you impart. Keep being you and much love to you and your family.

Lol Your joy for this job and these animals is so evident which is 1 of many reasons I think the channel is really wonderful. I can't count sheep to help me fall asleep anymore because I keep getting distracted by all the romping lambs! Lol

I remember, many years ago, lying in a field in Ireland on a glorious summer day. I was surrounded by hundreds of Ewes and their lambs! I was the only human among them. What a privilege! I learned then that “Baa Baa” was a human translation of the countless sounds being made that day! Conversations from every direction! I had never heard of ASMR then, but I experienced the effect! Love to you, Sandi!!

Sandi, I’m enjoying going back and watching your earlier vlogs. This vlog was very special. I loved hearing the sounds in the barns and watching the lambs in the finishing barn leap as they did when they were tiny lambs :-). I was a singer and also a harpist and spent 10 Summers singing the role of Princess of the Stars for Canadian composer R Murray Schafer. Murray coined the term “environmental soundscape” - which is rather like hearing the music in the sounds around us (forest, city or farm). Murray would create music out of the sounds he heard around him in the forest. He passed away over a year ago, but everyone who worked with him still misses him. I think Murray would have loved this vlog. Yours in Gratitude

I think it's a resounding "US, TOO!" when you mentioned you liked to watch the ewes interact with one another! The problem with live feeds is they can be bandwidth intensive and ISPs tend to frown on that if you have a home account. They sock it to you if you go to a business account as well so.... :-) I would love it myself as well but I understand there could be quite a cost to that.

@@mramanya I think you're right, there are a lot of issues people aren't aware of to doing live feed. I think Sandi should just keep it simple and just upload a video when she's able. Wow, you don't just play "Mary had a little lamb" all day, you do a lot of work! Between all that machinery and feed etc, those sheep cost a lot of money. I don't care for the machinery sounds, but you really hit the point of what you were trying to achieve at the bedding the lambs part. It was perfect! I loved when you zoomed in too. I could watch you bed the lambs for a long time and you have GOT to keep the little black and white! If you don't I may have to buy it to come eat the grass on my lawn! THIS is what we love about you Sandi, you're not just a farmer doing what needs to be done until the lambs are shipped off. It's your beautiful smile and interest in your flock that people admire you and watch you. Keep up the great work, you operate that machinery like a champ!

Great video, the everyday noises in the barn. After a while you tune them out, but they are a necessity too. Because we both have some permanent hearing losses, we tend to wear earplugs or 'mickey mouse' ears, most of the time. That tends to stop some louder noise, and sometimes you need to hear it too.

Felt like my kids texting me while sitting on the couch next to me. Tell Silence of the Lambs Hosers to mute their Sound and Turn on Closed Caption Settings from now on 😂💜🚜 🐑🙏😀 P.S. Can we put electric remote garage door opener on finishing barn.. Save you min 100 times getting in and out of Bobcat every years.. You work so Hard anything to lighten the load and save time efficiency..

So agree Stephen Kennedy. Feels like I'm missing time with my friend. Totally miss your narration. If folks don't want to hear you they can hit mute! If this keeps up you've lost a loyal viewer. 😪

I like both types of videos! As a video creator, it’s always fun to try something new. Variety is the spice of life! Whatever Sandi wants to make, I’ll gladly watch it. She’s that great!

I love how you listen to your fans. If I remember this video was 'requested' few days ago. Amazing video, waiting for more ❤️

I enjoy watching the Lambs playful antics. They're so full of energy, wish I had some of it. I like this idea although I miss hearing you say what you're doing. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos. I think a webcam in that barn would be a great idea. Just leave it on and let us watch them.

I’ve come to realize you can pretty easily tell which ones are the ram lambs because they still have long tails. 🥰

What do you mean? She bands all their tails? Do you mean she leaves the rams tails longer? Or?
@bullybaby

She bands the ewe lambs in case she decides to keep them back for breeding. Shorter tails are more sanitary for lambing purposes.

Seems like you have a really efficient system. And boy howdy, those 7 week old babys are big . I didn't realize how fast they grow ... It's still fun to watch them jumping around. I really like the black babys , to cute .

I do videos myself and understand the job could be done in almost half the time if it wasn't for camera setup, so I appreciate the extra work that takes on your part. While I've worked with cattle and horses most of my life, just recently I decided to raise horned hair sheep, and while your sheep are a little different, I've found your videos very helpful.

So high tech for the feed! Mine get silage in a laundry basket chucked in a rack! 🤣

My toddler was having a tough morning. I said "do you want to watch sheep?" And she ran to the TV and then cuddled with me while we watched part of this. Thank you. This little one never wants to cuddle!

It was wonderful to just watch the sheep being themselves! However I would miss you talking to us and your nice warm smile. So, come back and be our friend again! Thank you!

That was lovely. Thanks for responding to your audience request for this. The Q&A vlogs lately have been especially informative even though most of the information has been told before, for new viewers that don't binge watch from the beginning it is all new info. Billy made super cute babies and the interaction with you was fun. Thanks!
