It really is densely packed but they have good stuff! I'm hoping to do a video on all the vintage jewelry in St. Pete, there's a few really good shops that specialize including this one
Thats MY phone!!! Only mine had a 70’s brown top and push buttons (I thought) but it slid open and retracted like that! Me and my husband have looked and looked for one like that! I’ll have to tell him about this video. Ours was a popular house back then and everyone loved using our phone. It was just a fun design and felt so special to use it! Can you tell I’m excited to see this?!!!
I seen that fan shaped quilt and instantly remind me of The Beverly Hillbillies colors off but patterns the same, the one on the back seat of the truck. Glad I watch Crazy Lamp Lady and Subscribed to your channel , been watching them none stop Take Care Stash
Another wonderful video and you are so knowledgeable. AN it is just unbelievable how much you know about everything I have friends in St Pete maybe I'll get to go sometime
Hi George thanks for another great video of Florida antique store. Here in Hamilton Ontario Canada our antique stores are opening this Tuesday coming. Hurry finally. Great that we can buy antiques again but the problem is no room to put them after over 30 years of collecting, time to get rid of some things so that we can continue to buy.
Great tour! My favourites were the "Pharaoh's Horses" print, the tricycle and the spiderweb window...a bit odd for me😂 I used to have an antique print called "Horse Fair", and wish I still had it. Some fantastic things in there! Loved the Czech glass items! Thanks for another fun one!!!
Thank you! St. Pete really has a nice selection of antique and vintage shops. I thought the spiderweb window was really terrific, I rarely see them but I think of the Addams Family every time
They didn't, to my knowledge. I've only had one in all the years I've been doing this, I wish I had the video of how we took it off the top of the building by rolling it onto a pile of mattresses one story below...it survived though!
Hi, Glenda! Glad to have you join us again. By the way, I have a souvenir boomerang (1930s?) from P&O Steamship Lines, have you ever seen such? I presume they were given out at one of their ports in Australia
Hi, I am really enjoying your vast knowledge of antiques. This is an area where you NEVER stop learning. I would love it if you did a video on lamps. I have been in Spring Hill Fl, Thomasville and Bainbridge Ga (live in Tn) working on my mother’s 5 estates and Valdosta, Ga working on my Father in Law’s estate. He had a MCM vibe whereas my Mother was all about french provincial, Hollywood regency, ect.. My house is now absolutely full of gilded mirrors, dishes, old radios, etc. so far, I have counted 85 antique and vintage lamps in my possession, which brings me back to why I would LOVE to learn more about lamps. Lol. Matter of fact, you could probably do a whole whole video at my house in Tn. 😜
The Antique Nomad Hi, thanks for responding! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I’m in Cookeville off of 40 between Nashville and Knoxville I actually have an antique booth but will have to venture out to eBay due to the mass quantities of inventory I now possess. I am not exaggerating! My mother was a hoarder but she hoarded quality. I’m getting ready to go back to BAINBRIDGE Georgia to pull things out of an old Victorian that has been compromised due a previous hurricane that went through Tallahassee. In Springhill, my parents had two houses there that were totally packed. I have brought a lot home, but when I was there, actually made $14,000 doing the estate sale by myself. That’s how much stuff she had! If I can figure out how to send you a photo I will there are these two lamps in particular that I absolutely love that have a gazelles climbing a mountain. Can’t find them anywhere on the Internet. I have actually learned a lot through this process and through you as well. So thank you for that.
George whenever you have a video out, I can't wait to see it. Where ever you land I just love listening to you ❤️ you, as your vast experience with antiques comes through. I always learn so much from you. Thanks, George
Your knowledge is so vast & interesting. I prefer the way you showcase the items with the explanation instead of a quick grab & run episode. I use to live by St. Pete & I wish I would of known about this treasure of history. Great job & beautiful items.
I'm glad that resonates with you! I want people to be more informed so it's not just about buying pretty junk, I hope people will want to appreciate it on many levels
I love Weller Coppertone, and am hoping to find a good deal someday. I just purchased a large Burwood wall hanging peacock at an auction. I like those horses!
When I was first picking, I found one piece at an estate sale for practically nothing, I was so excited! Of course now I wish I'd kept it, I haven't had many more over the course of my career. The Burwood peacock must be cool, let me know if you show it in a haul video!
