There’s so many stories not known about that week of 9/11 so many untold stories of love and generosity from the people of Newfoundland. There’s so many of these passengers that come back to my beautiful island because if the family they made that week. Yes family, they gained family not friends. I’m so proud of my people, they don’t want recognition or thanks that’s just how we are. They never wanted the attention but they deserve it ❤

I'm too young to remember 9/11, come from away is a gift because I learned good kind things came out of a tragic event like that, knowing something horrible like that in my lifetime but having to learn though the words of others always has been werid
