Come hike with us! We really want to get into hiking this summer and take our kids as often as we can. Today we started out with just a small little trail at Cascade Springs in Utah. It was absolutely gorgeous and I think the kids had a lot of fun. If you are local and know of any other kid-friendly hikes, let us know in the comments!

I live in Salt Lake, and when our kids were younger we used to like to hike Ensign Peak. It’s not too steep (although it’s far from flat) and even better, it’s not too long, but the view of the whole Salt Lake Valley is beautiful! If you’re LDS (we are, but I don’t know for sure if you are), Ensign Peak has some religious significance. I wouldn’t do it on a really hot day because it’s so exposed, but not much more than the hike you were on. it is kind of nice to go in the evening and watch the sun set (although in the summer that’s quite late). We live right by Red Butte (& Hogle Zoo) and that’s always a fun place to visit and hike around. Have a fun summer!

Hi! This was such a nice walking trail for families! We love nature hikes--they'll love bugs someday, lol. Caris used to worry about things like water on her feet, she's totally over it now. I'd love to hike more as a family as well and visit more state parks. Fun vlog!

Thanks for sharing I'm laying here in my hundred and ten year old house and Southern Missouri Ozarks drinking my coffee in my bed did you say you're in Utah I went to two schools in Ogden I went to school all over Oregon and went to school in California anyways I've kicked around a lot in my lifetime in the bush I was trying to be a child Through The Eyes of your kids again come down to their level new and exciting experience life through their excitement

Yes. Odgen is maybe an hour and a half north of us. We are trying to enjoy the outdoors a bit. Im sure the ozarks are beautiful, would be great place to visit.

@@itsamoorething7100 very hot and sometimes very humid the heat can be very rough but you're welcome there's lots of places to camp on the rivers National Forest Etc
