I've never met Andrae Crouch but I know I loved him. I listened to his music since I was in my early teens and now I thank God for 55 years! Andrae wrote songs of faith and promise. They will live on forever!
He was a very humble man. I worked with him many years at his church. He had such a passion for God. He loved people. He would pray with people on the street or in a restaurant. He would take us to small churches, Jewish temples, Juneteenth celebrations in the park or huge venues. Everywhere he went he ministered to people. You might want to listen to the video on RU-vid of him sharing his testimony of how God gave him the gift of music. It truly represents who he was.
Yes, totally agree with you, folks! This is from South/West Norway I'm so grateful 🙏 I met Andrae Crouch in Stavanger, Norway, 2005 + 2011 - 2 conserts🙏👏 Thanks to God! That became my way back to my Lord Jesus, because I realised spezially in the last consert, 2011, that mr.Crouch was dedicated to our Lord Jesus Christ. He really was sent from God! In my youth I've song several of his songs and competitians, back in the 1970's - 80's - 90's and in 2019. Thankyou God for this Man, Who have brought such a Joy of singing these songs for so many years👏👏🙏🙏🙏❣️ He really was a Gift from our God❣️
@@lenialvr4442 I never had the pleasure of meeting him. I attended a live concert at the Spectrum in Philadelphia when I was a teen. I enjoyed him and the Disciples immensely. He was truly sent by and anointed by God. His music will never die. 💕

Paul, thanks so much for posting this! I saw Andrae on 1/18/03 in Akron, OH and he destroyed the auditorium with this song! The room was packed and there wasn't a dry eye in the house when he got through with this. It was really something special. i like the album version but this one is a bit closer to that performance.
I wish I would have known that Andrae was going to be there in Akron, Oh back then, nothing would have stopped me from being there. I didn't know that this song was on an album. I love this song, Andrae's style of music is really distinctive, a style only he brings out.
Yeah, he came to the U of Akron auditorium. This song is on his album Mighty Wind. He doesn't sing lead on it, Marcus Cole does, but like i said before, it sounds good.
