@@MM-zf4oj I wouldn't know because I haven't visited any of the stores featured. I'm speaking in a more general sense, just because the store looks posh doesn't mean you won't be able to afford one valuable thing in it.
@@MM-zf4oj I never equated it with bags and shoes. I merely said that the pieces can be worth investing in,(and may I add) especially if you're an interior design enthusiast. But I agree that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You decide what you invest in, and don't let anyone make you feel bad about those decisions.
The pregnant lady seems so intimidated of Heart. The way she looks (and couldn't look) at Heart, the way she speaks, her eyes and gestures.. so awkward. She really didn't contribute much. The air got lighter when they're finally at Joliza cos the girl was out of the picture. Sorry, not sorry. I guess it's really hard to be naturally posh like Heart
Admittedly, haven't seen all of Heart's vids... so just based off this, it's a breath of fresh air to see her in a light that is authentic & still inspiring yet relatable to more ppl; someone who shops on a budget & spends wisely 💕 Plus her complete look including her dress is sooo beautiful 😍

lessons learned: that theres no rules in designing putting nice pieces and interesting stuff together, ask for some help if you feel overwhelmed. dont buy stuff all at once and measure your space first before buying anything coz it might not fit and its sayang and end up regretting buying them, also dont get intimidated just ask how much is it, theres nothing wrong about asking that, lastly better research for store options that cater the style that you like just be patient in finding them though.
I think it's more important to consider how much empty space you want. A smaller couch in a living room, may make the place seem larger. But if there's a lot of people who need seating, a large single colored sofa that wraps around a corner, brings a warm and comforting environment.

If you are tolerant and not the maarte or sensitive type, you can actually score some imported good quality but cheap stuff from Japan/Korean Surplus shops. Also, furniture shops in posh location like Makati and San Juan tend to have expensive prices primarily because their target customers are rich people, not to mention the exorbitant rents that they need to pay. For antique pieces, you can check Bangkal shops in Makati. Nonetheless, thanks for this video - you gave us ideas where to check next for other stunning pieces. Those mirrors are called Venetian mirrors. They are frame less, because the treatment is mirror on mirror. The backing normally lead since mercury is banned, is etched giving it a white tint. Google Venetian mirrors. I have one to be delivered for my mantle, a huge one this week. I live in England though but I miss the Philippines :-)

Because I'm not as rich as Heart, before COVID-19, I loved going to thrift stores and finding unloved antiques there. I also know some people who would go into estate sales and snag amazing wood furniture. I miss going to thrift stores and consignment shops :(
I so much enjoy this vlog, I am currently taking up Bachelor of Industrial Technology that majors Drafting in Bulacan State University. However, my dream really is to become an Architect or Interior designer one day. One of my weakness is surely me, having a hard time doing all my manual plates since I started my college years since I wasn't able to hone my creative side in drawing (I'm on my 2nd year now). Moreover, I think my passion lies on this path where materials are right in front of my face, and like I have to design using those, but not on the drawing side. But there's no way to become one Architect / ID if I will not walk on that path (drawing). This vlog is really such a blessing, thank you Miss Heart and friends for fueling me in my creative juices as this home interior oculars fascinates me, even though the architect who wears earth tone looks and sounds so intimidating.

Thank you for sharing us tips on how to decorate our homes. I’m now based in Europe but I had been thinking of heading home and staying there for a couple of months or maybe a yr or two. My dad is an antique collector of cowboy-western stuff just like your dad and we are also chinoy, so our house is kinda east meets west..... I sometimes think it’s baduy... but I’m taking your advise and seek a professional when I return home. I literally live 1km away from Joliza, I have a feeling that it’s chinoy owned but I cannot recall being inside so thanx for touring us...Haha!
